Pros:
A memory for all to share
Cons:
We lost a Great Princess
I have always been a fan of Elton John, however I don't ever recall enjoying a tribute so much as for the one he wrote to Princess Diana after her death in 1997. The song is titled England's Rose also known as Candle in the Wind.
"It seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind, never fading with the sunsets when the rain set in, and your footsteps will always follow you along England's greenest hill's, Your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will." (Your singing it in your mind now aren't you?)
What a tribute to a wonderful lady that helped the entire world! It was the hottest seller that year remember? Don't remember all the words? Here are some more to bring back the memories.
"Good Bye England s Rose may you ever grow in our hearts, you were the greatest to place yourself where lives were torn apart."
I still cry when I remember that horrible accident that night. Did you know the proceeds from the sale of this single are donated to the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund? Still to this day.
My greatest wish would be to visit England and visit Northamptonshire where she was buried. She was admired by millions, she did things most of us would never consider doing. She has blessed a lot of people in need including ones stricken with aids. She was like a friend to all, whether you met her or not.
Why am I the first to write an Epinion on this? I don't know, but I do know she will never be forgotten in my eyes, and I doubt you will ever forget yourself.
I would love comments and feedback to this opinion. If you haven't bought this single, I suggest you do, not only for yourself, but also for your children.
