Yes, Something About The Way You Look Tonight, is also included on this beautifully sung, beloved tribute to Princess Diana. Is this song the reason I bought this CD? NO, of course not. I bought it for the title track Candle In The Wind!

While watching the deeply moving funeral to a woman I believe to be admired by so many, in stepped a performer by the name of Elton John, with a beautifully, moving tribute to Lady Diana Princess of Wales. Just the words of this song brought me to tears, Goodbye England's Rose, May you ever grow in our hearts, you were the grace that placed itself where lives were torn apart, as I sat early that morning and heard these words I felt cold chills rising up my body. I was hooked from that point on, to me this song told the way millions and millions of us felt about this wonderful lady. This song just put it all into words for us as a group, whether British, American, Canadian or any other country that was touched by this woman. But I believe this song was not only a tribute, but in some way was trying to convey to us that she was just a woman, who happened to be lucky enough to touch the lives of so many. Elton John has always been a personal favorite of mine for his wonderfully created and well delivered music. Since this was a rewrite of a song originally written to pay tribute to Marilyn Monroe, it was great that Elton John and Bernie Taupin once again teamed up to rewrite the words to the song to honor Lady Diana Princess of Wales. If this were the only song on this CD I would have bought for the pure remembrance factor of this outstanding woman. I believe it is an honest, heart felt tribute by Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

With that said, we can't forget the other wonderful song on this CD, Something About The Way You Look Tonight. After listening to this song numerous times, I too believe it was indeed meant to be on this CD. Listening to the words it can also bring you memories of Lady Diana Princess of Wales. The words There was a time, I was everything and nothing all in one, When you found me I was feeling like a cloud across the sun. I need to tell you how you light up every single dark of day are just a few lines that immediately also bring Princess Diana to mind. With the people she touched in her short years, I am sure many of them felt the same way about her that the words to this song reflect. I know that this song was not wrote or sung just for her, but I do believe when choosing this song to put on this short CD, Elton John knew what he was doing.

This was proven by the enormous sells that this CD had. It has truly became one of my favorite listens, when I need to just sit back and reflect on life and the way we all live it.

Elton John once again proved that he has the power to make people, through his music, remember a time, a place or a person through his great talent.

I would recommend that if you see this wonderful CD to purchase it not only for yourself, but one day for the children who will learn about this woman in a History Class somewhere. Maybe just maybe this will help them understand her a little bit better through music.

Great CD and worth the money, especially since all the money for royalties go to the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund which even today is reaching out and touching someone somewhere!
