Songbook: A Collection of Hits - Yearwood, Trisha (CD 1997)

Trisha Yearwood has been put in the background for a long time. She's been churning out the hits with little or no recognition. She's finally come into her own with this album. Her Greatest Hits so far (although entitled Songbook). This has all the great ones. Including She's In Love With The Boy (her first number 1), In Another's Eyes (w/ Garth Brooks), and several others. She has exceptional talent which was proved (I think) when she took the Grammy away for "How Do I Live"--the soundtrack for ConAir, even though LeeAnn Rimes also was up for the same award with the same song. If you like non-traditional country songs (ie. ballads, and non-twangy songs) run--don't walk--to get this album. You won't be sorry you did.
