I have had this CD for over a year now, and I will admit before I heard it I could not stand country music. A friend, not knowing what I liked, gave it to me as a birthday gift. But after hearing his songs, it made me hear country in a whole new way. Alan Jackson is amazing. And this greatest hits CD has his best songs ever on it.
My personal favorite song of all time is on this CD, its called "I'll Try". It has a total of 20 great songs. What makes Alan Jackson so special, I think, is his ability to sing such different types of songs. Some of them are slow, love songs, some tell stories, some are funny, and some are just fast dance-type songs.
He has some of the best written music I have ever heard. He has definitely changed my views on country music, but also just music in general.
