The Jungle Book (1999, DVD)

Received shipping on time but DVD does not play. Have two DVD's and a computer and it is unreadable on all three.

We bought it because the grandchildren wanted it.I still like the one with real people the best.The kids did enjoy this one but it's not what I would call a movie that adults would like that well.Some cartoon or animated movies make you fell part of the action,this one did not.

You can't get any better than the Bear Necessities. My son runs around the house singing the song and dancing, which is just priceless. The story line is terrific, there are loads of different animals for young children to learn about and experience and the tunes are beyond catchy with some great lessons thrown in here and there. I'd certainly recommend this movie to all looking to accumulate movies for their young children. The tiger in the movie is a little ominous, but nothing too frightful. A great movie, a classic, one that will be cherished in my house for generations to come.

I thought I was going to get a good copy of a classic like Disney's The Jungle Book for my kids. I received the dvd and soon realized this was not the case. What I got was not authentic. I received a burned copy of the movie that not only had poor sound and picture quality but, it skipped alot as well. Be cautious whom you buy from. The deal that sounds the best is not always the best one. Don't get ripped off like me.

The listing was clear and precise. I didn't have to ask any questions. The seller was quick and efficient. My granddaughter was enjoying it in just a couple of days.

Received the DVD in a timely manner and in great condition. My grandson loves the DVD and watches all the time.

It is my son's favorite movie and he had it on VHS but not DVD. This was the only place I could find it since it is in the Disney "vault". By the way, my son is 38 years old!

The Jungle Book is an excellent alternative to some of the newer cartoon characters featured in today's movies for young children. It's exiting and entertaining without the elements of morbid fear and graphic violence often portraid in more recent animated movies. My granddaughter is almost three years old and we both thouroughly enjoy watching The Jungle Book together over and over and she loves recounting the most funny scenes and acting them out.

If you have young children and want to provide some decent entertainment for them, this is definitely a good choice.

I bought this for my nephew who is 18. His favorite movie was always "The Jungle Book". He had the VHS but not the DVD. I couldn't find it in the stores of course, but was lucky enough to find it on eBay. This is such a great movie for children of all ages as well as adults!

I wanted this hard to find( in Disney Vault) DVD for ME , ok and my sons too.
I watched this as a kid with my sister and love it. My boys dont like it quite as much but they do enjoy it. New in box as promised by Ebayer.
It is very entertaining with lots of good songs to interact with , not as violent as some new Disney films.

I like this movie my self. They have animals singing and dancing. This movie really gets the animal out of you....I grew up on this movie.I have this for mmy children. The boy does not want to go to the village.But he does go cause of a girl with long eye lashes and hair. Good movie

As of Jan. 8, 2007 I have not received my "Jungle Book" video. I sent the $10.00 by money order on November 27th that was required. I even sent them a letter a few weeks ago. But I have not heard anything as of yet. I am very disappointed. My e-mail is kihei_00@msn.com

Seller had exactly what I wanted, was able to ge tit to me by Christmas. Although she may have charged a tad too much for the shipping. Product was in great condition and even sealed in the box yet. I would recommend purchasing something from her.

I bought this dvd because it was supposed to be a new and factory sealed dvd but it turned out to be a burned copy.The shipping was very quick though.I definately will not buy through him again that was very dishonest.

I recently bought this item as a Christmas Gift for my wife. She loves to collect Disney movies. What drew my attention to this particular item was the description. It mentioned that it was an original with the seals unbroken. I thought great, this is exactly what I'm looking for. Well, after receiving it in the mail, I kind of took a glance at it before gift wrapping it. I couldn't help but notice what appeared to be streaks in the coloring on the cover. One thing after another, I began to realize that the third or fourth purchase of my short Ebay career may not of been what I thought it was. Anyways, a couple of weeks later we finally viewed the movie and were pleased to see that it played very well. I guess I really can't complain, but I still feel a little nervous about bidding on movies in the future

Purchased this movie for the Grandchildren. I have it on VHS but not on DVD so needed this one on DVD to add to the Grandbabies DVD collection. Great family movie. Entertaining for children as well as adults.

This is definately the best disney movie ever made. If you haven't taken the time to let your little ones watch it you should! This movie has been in the Disney vault for about 5 years now so it's really hard to find. They are re-releasing it on dvd in October 2007. So if you dont want to wait that long, ebay is a wonderful place to find this dvd for a great price! Especially if you look in peoples online stores instead of the auctions, because then you can take advantage of the buy it now!
So go buy yourself a copy and make sure you & your family enjoy it!

Not much can be said about Disney's animated classics except they were always entertaining, combining excellent animation, stories and characters. This was another musical like most of Disney's animated movies, but never a clone of any other. This is another classic that both adults and children will enjoy upon repeated viewings. Highly recommended for the whole family.

Bought it as a present for a friend. Could not find it in stores. One Disney's classics that everyone should have. The songs are great.

I bought this movie for my grandchildren to watch, I remember watching it many years ago and loved it, it has great color, sound and so funny.. theres nothing a don't like about it, I'd recommend it to anyone. Its truly a classic.
