Motorola V710

phone is OK. Gets the job done. Some pictures turn out real good, but not the ones I have taken at night. These were the third phones like this I have purchased. Probably will sometime again?

i bought it because i need a cellone. but the cellphone i bought has not been helpful at all brcause i had to send it back because it stop working just a week after i received it. they sent me another that was not working eithr, so i had to send it back, they have it right now and i do not have a cellphone yet.

I liked it because is was blue tooth compatible. I didn't like that I had to buy a new battery and charger for it not to long after use. I really dont like the menu in the phone. I really didn't like that I notified the Seller that I wanted to purchase the phone that I had originally bid on with them, that they sent me a second chance notice on, on the same day I ended up purchasing V710. They wanted me to pay them a $5 fee that they said ebay charges them for listing the item, knowing damn well it gets refunded to them of the item isn't purchased. They wanted me to pay them to purchase the item that I really wanted that was more money than the item I ended up getting. I will probab;y end up going to a Verizon store to get the phone I really want.

I was looking for an inexpensive "in between phone" for my daughter with a couple of the features she is looking for. Her service contract with Alltel does not allow for phone upgrades until contract renwal time. The speaker on her contract phone was starting to go out so we looked on ebay for something to tide her over until December. The Motorola V710 has many of the features she was looking for. My only "gripe" is that the bluetooth does not work. After contacting the seller he really did not seem to understand the functions of the blue tooth. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and would do it again if I were looking for a replacement phone.

I needed to purchase this due to the fact that my previous Verizon phone was not working. The charger port was malfunctioning. This phone is an upgrade from what I had and I like it better. It is more durable, easier to hold.
Color screen and easy to navigate.

Living in Northern Michigan between cell phone towers is difficult to find working coverage at home. I purchased the V710 with the hopes that it would have better reception at the cabin and it does. I can now answer the phone and make calls without having to go to the lakes edge to get reception. The reception is clear and crisp. The camera in the phone isn't the greatest but that wasn't what I was shopping for to begin with, I had a good camera in my Kyocera KX5 Slider but the reception was awful at the cabin. Having limited cell phone providers in this area is a problem too but nothing I can do about that. The V710 is a nice size with the dial buttons being big enough that bigger thumbs could use this and not worry about misdialing. The outside screen is nice enough that you can see who's calling without squinting to read the name. It's over all a great phone but I know there's one out there with all the new technology that will get better reception year round at our home.
You will not be disappointed buying this phone unless you're wanting an excellent camera (then you might want to keep shopping).

The phone is okay. A little bigger than expected. I liked the fact that the camera phone was better, and it was 1X megapixels.

If I could rate Planet Instock lower on the scale, I wouldn't hesitate. My purchasing experience began January 16, 2007. I am writing this review on April 1, 2007. (How poignant, April Fool's Day.) So two and a half months and still I have no phone. I keep getting emails asking for information so they can send me a phone THAT NEVER COMES!! I have never had a more frustrating experience on Ebay, EVER!!

I bought the phone and the back would not stay on very well.. It was suppose to be a Alltell phone but had a Verison back on it. It would not charge at first. I thought the charger was bad. Got a new charger and found that I had to put rubber bands on the phone so it would charge. Phone didn't last over 3 weeks and would not charge at all.. Waste of time and money..The add said "Best deal on Ebay"....haha...Bu##sh$t!!!

The phone was Ok it took a little bit longer to be delivered than it was advertised.
However, for the eBay I have a problem not with the seller of the phone. Somehow someone got my mail at hand and pretends to be the eBAY org. sending ,e threating mail about purchases that i have not done. I am wondering how safe the eBay order server is.

This phone actually has some oomph to it compared to flip phones out there today. Some may claim the phone is heavy...and it is heavier than other phones, but that gives it some substance. The keys feel almost padded and they are very fluid in touch.

The bluetooth feature is wonderful, the voice dial which can be used by anyone without programming it is genius.

I bought this phone for my husband and I am jealous every time i see it because it is wonderful.

Took way to long to get. It worked for one night then stopped working. It took over a month before i received my money back.

The phone I purchased was good I like the v710 tyhe camera is better than I thought.The only thing that bothered me was the battery power you talk on it a short while it drop to near death.So I rememdied that by getting a couple replacement batteries in case for being out an about no time to charge but overall good.

Speaker Phone capabilities are good and ease to turn on and off. It is a good phone in general terms. However, there where some surprises. The phone wasn't new. Wel, a cell phone with Blue Tooth capabilities for 80.00 dollars couldn't be new. Anyway, when day setup my phone for use in Verizon, the phone start roaming because the phone came from another state and that cause to receive I high bill for the first month. Also I think that charge for mailing was to high $14.00 dollars using the regular US postal services. UPS charge $6.00 dollarsj for a bigger package.

I decided to buy my dauhgter another phone, so we looked on Ebay, first looking at others such as the Razor, but she finally picked the Motorola V710. She loves this phone, it looks great, it works great and she was so happy when she got it. This phone does everything she wants it to, takes pictures, sends pictures, oh and lets not forget about the text messageing! This is a great cell phone for my 11 year old.

I like the phone because it is tough. I decided to purchase it for my son because he needed one. He is a tough child. The phone works well and he loves it. Their is nothing that I dislike about the phone.

Here's the scoop on this cell phone. This item has a great MP3 player. Extra songs can be uploaded on the cell phone using an SD-Transflash card. An SD-Transflash card is a Secure Digital Memory card that is seperate in two parts. Same principle as the Sony Memory stick and it's counterpart Pro Duo Series but just in a smaller more integrated format. This cell phone sometimes echos, even in the new version of it that just came out. It has multiple alarm-wake-up settings.

The Camera on it is okay. It's a little over a mega-pixel, so don't expect much from it. You will like the video-record function. One feature I use on this cell phone is it's voice record function. I record things such as where I parked at Wal-Mart. I don't care who you are, but everyone loses track of their car at Wal-Mart. You can plan current events throughout the year with this cell phones calendar function.

Blue Tooth is quite a nice feature for you "tech savy people"

You can send video mail and text messages and also surf the internet. Don't expect much from the internet function though. It's still strickly text only format.

Physical Ability: I'll be honest, I've thrown this cell phone out of a car going 80 mph, ran over three times and dropped too many times that God would even frown at me. It still runs....so much for trying to file cell phone insurance.

I have not been happy with the Motorola V710 at all. First the battery would not hold a charge longer than 20 minutes. No speed dial past 9, software failed when I went on a trip to Florida, I live in Va. Had to take it to Verizon they could not fix it so they replaced it with another Motorola V710. That one is not much different. The person that I purchased it from sent me another battery now the battery stays charged for about an hour of talk time. The one I just got from Verizon, sometimes you have to reset it by turning if off and on again so you can make and receive calls. When I return home, I am going to Verizon and purchase a new phone. Cannot put up with this any longer. Lots of money and time wasted on this phone. I do not recommend it at all. Period.

When this phone came out a few years ago it was great. But if you plan on really using this phone, it will die out on you after about a year. The screens always tend to have one problem or another, the camera quality is very poor and the camera ring falls off 90% of the time. The blue tooth capabilities are great.

I wanted an alltel mp3 phone, the motorola v710 was a good choice and the phone works fine. The display screen does scartch very easy, but the phone is still great.

I wanted to write a review for this purchase because I was impressed with the service I received. When I first ordered this phone, I received it and after a couple weeks a few of the buttons on the phone didn't work. So I wrote an email and was given instructions as to how to send it back. I sent them back the original phone and in no time they sent me back a new phone, that worked perfectly. I thought that the exchange process was going to be difficult but they made it very simple!

The reason I purchased this product is because my previous phone was crushed from a car. This phone was simply a replacement, and it works great. The only complaint that I might have with this phone is the connection for the charger to the phone. The connector does not always stay in the slot. I understand that Motorola has since changed this.

This phone has some cool functions like it's video and picture camera. There are some downsides too. It is not as small as some other common phones. It is also not as convenient to use as other common phones. I've had some trouble with the phonebook and ring selections. The camera also does offer some cool features. Overall this would be a good right-in-the-middle phone for the average person.
