i love spending 50 dollars on a phone that doesnt work and then to top it off pay pal which i thought was my insurance denies my claim if something isnt done about it i will start buying my stuff off of craigslist
What I like most about this phone were the price, my dislike is the phone has poor connection, the battery does not last long enough and it does not have media music were you can bond with another bluetooth. I'm afraid to purchase another phone on ebay, would love to but scare. Sorry
I really liked the phone, but I only got to use it for a month and it wouldn't accept the chargers anymore. So, the battery died and I couldn't use it. Something went wrong between the battery and where you plug it in. When I did use it, it was very nice. Loud ring tones, nice clear screens that took great pics. I bought mine used though, but a little disappointed it didn't last. Oh well, I spent a little more and got a Razr.
The camera feature never did work properly and the phone stopped working completley within 30 days. The seller, morecells would do nothing about it. A second phone was purchased from this company by my daughter and it looked nothing like the photo, it was so badly beat-up that another phone had to be purchased at verizon within a week. Finally, I purchased a new razor on ebay that was in perfect condition. However, I was out $70 on the V710!
Here's the scoop on this cell phone. This item has a great MP3 player. Extra songs can be uploaded on the cell phone using an SD-Transflash card. An SD-Transflash card is a Secure Digital Memory card that is seperate in two parts. Same principle as the Sony Memory stick and it's counterpart Pro Duo Series but just in a smaller more integrated format. This cell phone sometimes echos, even in the new version of it that just came out. It has multiple alarm-wake-up settings.
The Camera on it is okay. It's a little over a mega-pixel, so don't expect much from it. You will like the video-record function. One feature I use on this cell phone is it's voice record function. I record things such as where I parked at Wal-Mart. I don't care who you are, but everyone loses track of their car at Wal-Mart. You can plan current events throughout the year with this cell phones calendar function.
Blue Tooth is quite a nice feature for you "tech savy people"
You can send video mail and text messages and also surf the internet. Don't expect much from the internet function though. It's still strickly text only format.
Physical Ability: I'll be honest, I've thrown this cell phone out of a car going 80 mph, ran over three times and dropped too many times that God would even frown at me. It still runs....so much for trying to file cell phone insurance.
Personally, I had this phone for roughly 1.5-2 years and bought it when it first came out. Many people complain that the camera is poor, let us keep in mind that it was one of the first phones to move up to the 1.3 mega pixel range (for Telus anyway and motorola with exception of razr). I found the phone to have excellent reception where I live, and I also found the pictures to be adequate providing the lighting was; face it..if you want better pictures get a digital camera. Clarity, bluetooth, and design were all excellent in my opinion. Only reason I switched was because I got a data device! Having handled thousands of phones, I would rate this model for motorola a 9/10, the only downfall being the charging port, which was a common problem for all v series models. It appears that the two prong design for the port is very poor, at least they have upgraded now when they made the razr
good phone, no holds on registration, good condition - very little nicks or damage. had exact same phone, when recv'd, in the video screen, there used to be a 20 second "band - meter" which started at one end and would finish video clip at the other, so you could watch your 'time' left and time used. there is no meter 'band' on this exact same phone - no idea why.
I bought this phone 2 years ago (my first cell phone) because the saleperson said it got the best reception. It does get good reception, which is my priority. And I like using the phone. BUT, recently, the phone would not charge, "unable to charge" message comes up. Have realized the charge port is damaged and have just had to buy another phone (which does drop calls the Motorola V325i). Why make a phone with a fragile charge port? Are they all like this?
In general I like the phone, however, the charging plug sucks!!! the phone is easy to use and navigate. Bluetooth was a big factor for me. For the price the phone was a great deal for my needs. Just be careful when plugging it in to charge.
I got the phone very quickly. I like the price. The phone has worked excellent. I got all the attachments to it that would have cost me a whole lot more if I would have went to a store and bought them all seperately.
I switched to this phone out of need rather than want, but I'm not disapointed in my choice. This phone is easy to use, has all the basic functions I need, and has rather good reception. The only downfall is that, like all other Motorola phones I've used, the chargers and charger ports are easily damaged. But, so far it has served it's purpose and I cannot complain.
I am still wait for my(new) v710 . or $104.89. so maybe one in a thousand to buy from a that not trying to rip me off yes i had very good sellers 1 out of ten 9 out of ten are very bad sellers. so get back to me if or win i ever get my new v710 that i paid for over 2 months ago. yes i sent the one back .this is not the only seller that taken me moneys. this is getting old.
Wouldn't know if I like or dislike the item I purchased and never received and have not been able to resolve the problem or get my money back so I will not be making any more purchases through e-bay....very unsatisfied :-(
This phone is pretty good. It's been pretty reliable so far with only minor problems. The speakerphone doesn't work very well. It's hard to understand people when you turn it up louder (the speaker starts distorting and rattling the phone), and if you turn it down, it's hard to hear. The charging input has gotten worse as time has gone by. I have to jimmy the charger in the slot now to get it to charge, and the connection is easily broken now...didn't use to be that way.
One big issue with this phone is that the camera is HORRIBLE. The pictures have so much noise in them, it's pretty much worthless. You can't get a clear picture no matter how much or how little light you have.
A decent phone overall. I wouldn't get this one if I could go back, but it's been all right.
THE PHONE IS A PILE OF CRAP!!!!! NOT AT ALL WHAT IT SAID IN THE DISCRIPTION DONT NOT BUY ONE!!!! I WONT BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THE SELL. BLUE TOOTH DOESNT EVEN WORK.
my frist phone had a lot of prombles with it, had to send it back for a new one, but i'm happy with the second one so far. it took about two weeks to get the phone and paid to ship back to celluar which cost me 5.00 dollar and the charge me 15.00 to ship it to me the frist time, i need a new phone and did'nt want a new contract
Arrived on time and in great working condition like new!!! Was looking for something with blue tooth capable. Was exacaly what I was looking for. Arrived in 3 days and would buy from seller again. No complaints at all.
It's an ok phone. The camera quality is horrible though. It has a good amount of memory but the voice recorder only records the other person's voice while on the phone.
This is a good phone, and it came with brand new accessories. I bought this one for my husband after I bought one just like it from another seller a few weeks ago, and it only came with a home charger, and it was not by any means new. In fact, it is very hard to get that charger to charge the phone. Your accessories are much, much better. Thank you!
I appreciate the customer service that I recieved when getting my Motorola V710 set up. I was challenging at first to say the least. But Technical Support guided me. I do like it alot. Was a little hesitant about purchasing, but am very satisfied.
