Motorola V710

I needed to buy this phone because my other one, just like it, messed up and I had just taken insurance off of it. I was in the middle of my plan, which they charge like $200 for a new one. So, this was my second Motorola V710 phone purchased from ebay, because the first one I rec'd had the screen go blank. I wanted the same phone since I understood it best. I rec'd this one and it was used. It did great for a about 2 weeks, then the screen went off once again. So, I'm stuck with it til my contract runs out or I buy a new inflated cost phone. I would buy this phone again, but new and I'd add insurance.

the menu is not very convenient to navigate. i bought a used phone and having tought time configuring it for new number. I thought it has bluetooth but it doesn't.

My son has the same phone but his will not charge the battery so he uses this phone to charge and it works.

SLOW SHIPPING, EBAYER NEVER ANSWERED MY EMAILS, THE CHARGER WORKS WHEN IT FEELS LIKE, AND THE PHONE WONT STAY ON MORE THAN 5 MIN EVEN WHEN FULLY CHARGED, EXTREMELY DISAPOINTED, NEVER AGAIN!

i like the phone because it has anice large screen but it does not have all the features hat i wanted.it is a decent phone for the price i paid .it will work for an extra phone.

The seller was good and shipped fast. Did not work out but returned the phone and returned the money.

First, the things I like about the phone: the graphics are good. I like the format in which you text message. I like the look of the phone.
What I don't like about the phone: Its too heavy. It takes LOUSY pictures-- you have to be in direct sunlight to even be able to see the photo. In the middle of sending a text, it freezes up, goes back to the main screen, says "No Service", and then resets itself. It also does this frequently when I scan down the address book, and does it in the same place every time. I don't like and of the ringtones it has. The ringer volume is either "wake the dead" loud, or so quiet a dog couldn't hear it. Theres nothing in the middle.

I've already spoken to my provider about getting a new phone, and am waiting a bit until I'm eligible for an upgrade. I definately won't buy something like this again online. You have to have it in your hands to know if you like it. Its not worth the money you save, if you have to turn around and replace the product.

I decided to buy it because I was in a pinch, was without a phone completely, and didn't have $300 to pay for a new one. The price was right, it had all the features I wanted, so I took a chance. Never again!!!

The phone I purchased was an excellent choice for me because the accessories included was just was I was looking for. I have a 19 month old daughter who is very interested in what mommy is doing and likes to mimic my movements, so when I am talking on a phone she MUST talk to. The bluetooth capability was a major factor. Unfortunately my handset battery only stays charged (when I talk)for about an hour, other than that I would and have recommended this style of phone to my family and friends and even spread the word of Ebay. My school mates need textbooks for their classes and before I search anywhere else for them as well as myself; its EBAY all the way.

this product came in a timely manner and was everything it was suposed to be. very happy with this vendor.

Great Internal and external high-resolution color screens, decent speakerphone and expandable memory.

But the Bluetooth and MP3 player functionality is limited, it has inadequate e-mail support, it is heavy, standby kills the battery, and it has a poor picture quality.

I bought this phone as a CHEAP replacement when my Razr died. Its a nice phone phone but definitely a step down.

Cons- Poor camera/video
Battery dies too fast

Although considering the price, I am overall satisfied with this model phone but would'nt recomend it to anyone.

I needed this phone because my previous phone broke and it was going to be a year before I could get a discount on a new phone.

I purchased 2 identical motorola v710s from the same seller. Both were supposed to be refurbished but only one looked that way. Neither hold a charge and I have already had to buy new phones less than 2 wks after buying the 710s...I will not purchase anything else from this buyer.

I like that this phone lets me know when I have missed a call. I bought this phone because m existing phone was not compatible with a blue tooth.

I love this cell phone it has everything i wanted in a cell phone.The recepit is great. I bought this phone becuase my other phone was falling apart.I remain this phone to every one.

phones good but tok a little long to get my phone. the phone works great and i am really excied to have a phone again.

it was a replacement for my razor k that I went swimming with the phone works but the bluetooth quit I have sent it back for replacement.

This is a great phone with lots of features. I always get service no matter ware I am. Good sound quality....however the only downside is that it isnt the best looking phone out there. Its a little large compared to some phones and it seems a little flimsy. However it does its job well and thats the important part. Great large screen (thats wonderful) inexpensive compared to some phones and depending on ware your purchasing it.

Motorola v710,
Being the first phone with bluetooth technology motorola decided to not only put it the very handy bluetooth but also put in one of the first ever 1.2 megapixel cameras and a great mp3 player. One of the best features of this product is the micro SD or transflash memory card slot. It allows you to expand the memory in your phone and store your pictures and music on it. I find it very dissapointing when they advertise a phone that can play mp3's and take pictures when they give you a mere 10 mb of storage which is just about 3 songs or 60 photos.
Also has a great speaker for listening to music or talking on the phone. Or you can also just plug in a pair of headphones.
As far as calling with this phone It does get very good reception because of its bulky antenna. The phone it self is rather large in size but is one of the roughest and toughest phones out there. Don't forget the large screen size not just does it have a large screen inside but it also has a fair size screen on the outside, larger than the razr anyway. Overall very pleased with the phone and would never trust anything else when I need a dependable phone.

After losing my new phone, a friend passed their old v710 down to me. My company then bought me a brand new phone. I ended up packing the new one away and going back to the v710. I realize it is bigger than most phones, but love how sturdy and solid it is (has been dropped, etc numerous times and keeps on tickin')and I LOVE how reasonably accessible the keys are...not minuscule...as well as the nice big screen. My old one finally quit on me (after much abuse over 3 years) and I have ordered/bought/tried numerous phones and am finding that I always come back to the v710.

No good. Wouldn't charge. Sent back to seller. Seller just gave me a refund rather than send me another phone.
