Pros:
fun, catchy, great lyrics, timeless

Cons:
I can't see any, some may think some lyrics are silly though...

The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan disc is one of his best. It is all early tracks with just Bob and his acoustic guitar. Believe me, that's all you need for this album. It begins with the classic Blowin' In The Wind, one of the greatest folk songs ever recorded. All of the lyrics have great meaning and depth that stems even in our world today.

"How many times must the cannon balls fly, before they are forever banned?"

Girl From The North Country is a song about longing for a lost love and just hoping that she's safe right now and wondering what she's doing now. Masters Of War is a song about the people who capitalize on war by convincing people that they need to buy bombs and planes and fight other people so they can make money. This is a very passionate song. Down the Highway and Bob Dylan's Blues are two blues songs and they break into Hard Rain which is another awesome song. My next three favorite songs are the beautiful Don't Think Twice It's Alright, Corrina, Corrina and I Shall Be Free.

I recommend this disc for any fan of Bob Dylan. If you are not a fan of the great man perhaps you really haven't given him enough of a chance. Perhaps you think you don't really appreciate his voice (yet!). Regardless of your opinion on his vocal aspects, his lyrics and music will forever be remembered both by his generation and many generations to come as amazing.

If you like this album I recommend: Another Side of Bob Dylan.

If you like Bob Dylan: how about some Neil Young? Tom Petty? The Band?
