LG LX5450 (ALLTEL Wireless)

Junk, dont' buy it. Had to send it back to the seller, they sent me another one and it's doing the same thing - turns on and off repeatedly. Alltel guy said that's common in those type of LGs

My daughter's cell phone was dropped in a mall parking lot and run over by a car. This cell phone was a temporary replacement until our contract expired and another free one was available. This phone has a new housing which looks great HOWEVER, the antennea has a problem and the reception is terrible. I now have to stand on the back porch with my arm in the air and cannot move or I risk being cut off. Seeing all our other family cell phones have reception at our home, this is a flaw in the phone itself. I will just have to make do until October and my biceps are looking good.

phone works okay it is in good shape and it was a up grade from my own phone i am happy and enjoying it

We decided to purchase this phone because of the good reviews that were given about it and it seemed to be at a good price. But, the reception is awful. It goes to analog constantly. Many times, where we get reception with other cell phones in our family, this one has no reception. We are not happy with it at all.

I purchased the LG LX5450 phone when the same model phone I had previously for 5 years finally held its last conversation. With several hundred new models of phones from which to choose, I chose another LG. The LG features a camera that takes clear, precise pictures and even has an album with which to store them. Other features of the phone include choice of screen savers, a variety of ring tones, lighted key pad with large enough numbers that even my older eyes can see, and the phone offers several choices as to how you can read the time. The feature I like best is the compact size of the phone. Easily held in the palm of your hand the phone is perfect for a pocketbook, or briefcase. My son says I need to get a newer phone model, my reply to him is: "if it aint broke don't fix it!" I can truly say, "I can hear you now" with this phone.

I purchased this item for my nephew. It was just what he was looking for. The item was just as described. He absolutely loved it. We are very satisfied with this phone.

I recieved the phone very quickly. It was in brand new condition with the accessories. The price was excellent for the quality. I bought a new phone at the store with less features the month before for almost $200.00. I will definitely recommend this supplier fo my friends who need a new phone and in fact I already have!! Sorry for the typing errors my cat thinks she has to lay on the keyboard when I type. Thank you again fo the excellent quality and quick service.

The phone arrived promptly, and arrived in the condition as it was listed in the posting. I would recommend this seller to another. The phone worked, and no problems arised.

I BOUGHT THIS PHONE LG 5450 BECAUSE I BOUGHT ONE ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO FOR MYSELF THE I DECIDED I WANTED TO CHANGE PHONES SO I GAVE IT TO MY SON. MY FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD NEW PHONE BROKE AFTER THE THE FIRST YEAR. MY SON'S LG 5450 IS STILL RUNNING PERFECTLY. SO I DECIDED TO BUY THE LG 5450 AGAIN. I'VE HAD THE PHONE FOR A WHILE NOW AND STILL NO PROBLEMS. I'M VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE.

ever since i obtained this particular cell phone through alltel, my experience with it has been very excellent. it has gone through numerous drops onto the ground, severe bumps while in my pocket, and even ran through a full washer cycle( and i did have to remove the battery and allow it to dry for a day). if you need a phone that is simply for performance and no unecessary frills, im sure youll love this phone. i still use this phone and with over six thousand calls, its still running perfect. i recently purchased a brand new lg however it was only to replace the outer housing so therefore it looks brand new once again. as a truck driver by trade, its reception is second to none which is a definate necessity. 04-07-2007. I was extremely happy with my purchase and the seller immediately sent a replacement car charger for the one that was originally sent as it was broken. I would definately buy from him again.

I think LG did a nice job with the 5450. So far there have been no dropped calls and the reception is very clear. Which, of course, are the most important qualities.

Other Pros:
-Nice integrated camera.
-Menu is easy to navigate.
-Contacts are easy to get to & organize.
-external caller ID.
-Clear display with rich colors.
-Good list of standard ringtones.
-Good battery life.
-Solid build quality.

Cons:
-It's very easy for your fingers to get in the way of the camera since it's located near the hinge.
-Bluetooth not available.
-Poor design for leather case (phone slides around in it when opened).
-No free games.
-Data cable (non-aftermarket) is very expensive. $100 at the Alltel store.

this is one of the best phones i haver owned..i am always trying something new when they come out with it and out of all phones this is one of the most simple phones to operate including the camera which takes great pictures..too bad lg did not come out with a updated verson of this phone.........

this phone was bought for my 16 year old daughter, she loves it, we live in a somewhat remote area and a lot of cell phone do not get reception in our home, no problems with this one.

The phone was exactly what we expected. It was in good condition. We bought it because my brothers phone broke and it was going to be $200 or something ridiculous to replace it. This phone has worked out great!!

This is a used item in good shape. The bonus are all of the great ringtones. My kids are having a blast with them. I have to take it away before they use up all the battery. Great sound and reception. Item was just as described.

This is still my favorite phone. I know it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some phones may have, but it is easy to use, I like the software, I like the graphics, and I like the size.

Well my wifes cell phone broke . thats is why we decided to purchase this phone . We have no complants . The camera works great easy motions between screens . She has better reception now then she did with her old phone. I gave this phone a good just because to her it would have been excellent if their would have been a video camera and a mp3 player on the phone.

Works fine! This was just the phone that I was looking for. I had a phone like this before and liked it so when I needed another I knew what I was looking for.

I was sort of upset with the delivery time, and the product itself had some wear that wasn't touched on in the photos. I am, however, happy with the overall product. The battery life is low and fast, but that's another story and I can take care of that particular problem myself. But, I do thank you. IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST CAMERA PHONES, IT WAS AHEAD OF IT'S TIME, ALL ELECTRONICS GET BETTER WITH TIME, I SAY IT IS A WONDERFULL PHONE FOR UNDER $75.00.. SO DON'T COMPARE IT TO A $400.00 PHONE....

This was a great buy. My dad fell in love with the phone. I didn't think he would like it, but he did. I really got tired of him complaining about his phone and hinting that he wanted a new one so i decided to search for a phone and this was what i came acrros

I sent the phone back. The phone was not even in a condition of selling. I received this phone on June 30 amd I shipped it back on June 31. I did not get any use with this phone.

We bought the phone as a replacement for an old damaged phone. It seemed to work great in the beginning but since we have discovered a few quirks. Not big problems but the phone restarts itself at random and the screen fades out once in awhile. Overall for the price it was ok. It works fine as a new temporary phone to finish out our plan on.
