Super Mario Land 2 (Game Boy)

Super Mario Land 2 just isn't worth it. It was great back in the heyday of the original black-and-white gameboy, but now there are just games far superior to this. The graphics on Super Mario Land 2 are fairly poor. Mario is absolutely tiny. Everything is absolutely tiny. You might strain your eyes playing this game.

There are some new things.. an airplane, a submarine, for example. But these features are only new to Mario games, and aren't too original or fun. It's just the same old thing.

The game is rather long, and if you love side-scrolling games you might have fun with this. I just found it tedious though. The graphics in Super Mario DX are a million times better, the gameplay is a million times better, and the game itself is a million times better. I never even finished Super Mario Land 2. I perhaps got halfway through.

If you have a Gameboy Color, try Super Mario DX or Smurf's Nightmare instead. If you don't, I guess this might be the best game you can get, but, like I said, unless you love mario or side-scrolling action games, you'll get bored with this rather fast.
