The Purpose Driven Life by Richard Warren, Rick Warren (2002)

I had already recieved a copy as a gift. I bought another copy for a friend. No matter how quickly or slowly you read and follow this book - it enhances ones life. Many new and varied insights into how to approach life and all it's challenges.

The book is excellent because it reveals to you the reason you were created and helps you to know God's plan for your life.

I had previously read this book and gave it to a friend whom I thought could get much benefit from it. Now I want to be able to refer to it myself. Thanks to the seller for sending a great copy for me to have at home. Sandy

This book is all about self. The Bible is about Jesus Christ. Rick needed to leave the Bible out of this book completely, of course it wouldn't be labeled a christian book, and sales wouldn't be good. He is just another apostate trying to make a fortune off of makeing people feel good about themselves. I wonder if Paul and Silas "felt good" in jail after they had recieved many stripes? They could still sing praises unto God. That's the power in John 1:12 that they had, it was nothing that they worked up. Christ is the only one who can give us life and life more abundantly, we can do nothing of ourselves, but beilieve his word, trust Him with our whole heart, it's Him that lives in us. This book is not of God

This book was delivered quickly and in a really good condition. It was exactly what was described and was a good buy. I spent not a lot of money and got an almost new book!

My daughter was reading the book and deceide to bought it at the mail one day.
I really like the book, I think anything that has Richard Warren name on it is worth buying. I bought two copys on e-bay for my best friend and a family member. I wish I would of bought my copy on e-bay, I would of paid half the price.

I was given this book by a friend. After 3 chapters, I order another copy and sent to my son to read. He also thinks this is an awsome book. A must read by new and older Christians. I am planning on buying more of this authors books. Great instruction and review of Christian walk. A way to relearn things that you might have forgotten...

This is a truly life changing book!! It's easy to read & understand, thoughtful, well written, inspiring and I absolutely recommend it to anyone & everyone!! I've given at least a dozen copies to friends, family & even strangers. It is even better in CD form, narrated by the author. I guarantee you will be filled with humility, hope, peace, inspiration & love after reading this book. If you're seeking the way, you'll find it in this book with an introduction to Jesus Christ and life lessons through the hundreds of Biblical quotes. If you're already on the path, you'll learn how to draw closer to God and so much more. I highly recommend this book to everyone from those who don't have Jesus in their lives to those who are devout in their love of Christ. I'm listening to it a second time & enjoying it every bit as much as the first time!! You will not be disappointed!!

I loved that I decided I wanted to buy the book and read it...I ordered it and got it in lke 3 days, I was very impressed and would definetly do it all over again!!!

I've heard of so many people getting together usually in church groups or other groups to read this book. I was going through an awkward time in my life & needed a little guidance. This book is great for anyone.

Interesting book, its a good motivator for human accomplishments, but not that very spiritual. Rick uses God as a genie and guides more to "saved by works" not grace/faith. For some reason, the elderly doesnt fit in well with the chruch, other than getting their donations from thier social security every month, he doesnt really give any inspiration for them in "Gods Service".

Most his following books forcas more on serving the church, and not God. If your not rooted in the faith, dont read the book, use it as a comparison, not a guide. Just remember, humanism has encroached the church so that people cant tell the differance.

The content its awesome, this is "The book" you must read, please follow my advice, this is the best book you will ever read.

This is a great book. Once, you commit to reading a chapter a day or a week it will keep you searching for more and more...awesome!

My church went through the whole book for our Sunday School class. It was intense and very rewarding for me. I found my purpose in life. I never knew what my purpose in this life was...I wish everyone would read it at least once. I am on my second reading. I bought it for a friend. Thank you. I rate it excellent!

Great Book. I recommend to all regardless of your religious beliefs. Very thought provoking, leaves you with many questions but more answers!

Finding your purpose in life is a journey. This book is similar to THE SECRET but it provides the true key about your journey --Faith. Without faith you have nothing. Rick Warren holds you accountable to your actions and decisions. Your faith is the only thing you have to truly find out your true purpose.

I would recommend this book. It is easily understood and within the first few chapters, you will know that it is something that will have long lasting effects on your life.

So far I like the book. I am going on a mission trip to the Czech Republic and this book was suggestion buy my church before the trip. I think this book would be excellent for anyone to read so they can gain focus on what is important in life rather than being rapped up in the daily routine. We forget about our purpose here and what we are doing on this earth that is meaningful rather than just living day by day and passing the time.

Per the news articles and stories on CNN, this book was the reason why that woman who got taken hostage was able to talk the criminal into giving himself up! I can see why---it gives every person on this earth a meaning for their lives, despite society's standards. I keep buying this book and giving it away to both new friends and old. Once you read it, your outlook on your own life will change dramatically for the better.
