A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle (2008)

Originally, I purchased this book for the live webcast on Oprah.com for the 10 session. Once I began reading this book I found it to exceptional and "on time" even though it was written sometime ago. The material is an easy read and quite phenomenal so that anyone could understand his teachings.

I recommended it too many even before I had completed the 10 webcast program. The purchasing price was great and I received it ontime for the next class. Again, this is a excellent manual for anyone who is ready to "awaken and re-awaken" to their divine purpose, here and now.

Unfortunately I had a hard time understanding the author while he read his book. As for the book itself, I felt it contained more of a "college course" type of information and format. "BIG WORDS" laced here and there which would make the NORMAL person uncomfortable. I had high hopes on truly enjoying the "enlightenment" that all of the hype suggested but no. BORED was all I could say this book offered me. SORRY to those of you who were truely ENLIGHTENED by its contents, guess I just wasn't ready.

This is a good book with excellent insight. If the world evolves to this way of being, it would be a wonderful place. During and after reading the book I tried to apply it in my life, but it was a struggle, and I gradualy fell back into my old ways of thinking. I hope I'll be able to read it again at another time and better transform from thinking to being.

The entire process was quick and easy. I received this book so quickly that I couldn't belive it was on my doorstep! Thanks!

This book is surely a good investment, you will be very satisfied having this book. I aint those books that tell you what to do, but it inspires you to be yourself. The true you. And if you are into any kind of religion and you dont know if this book is going to be a conflict in your believes. I dont think its going to be.

This is a wonderful book and has changed my life so much. I highly recommend this book. I saw the author on Oprah and instantly knew I had to have this book . So I purchased it and then I purchased his first book "The Power of Now"

Very inspirational during my life changing process. I purchased it after the book was featured on Oprah. It is so worth reading especially if you are at a crossroads in life and need an extra boost of encouragement. The book makes you soul search about what you really want out of life, and what matters really to YOU. You get the strength to do you guilt free.

I never received my book. My money was taken. I am very disapointed! I was told the order was being shipped, the book never arrived at my house. I will never, never order from you again. I have never had a problem in the pass. I just cannot expres my disappointment in the way this was handeled.

This is a powerful book that clears up all the mysteries about how to live a healthy, positive life. I love it.

Unlike any book or course I have seen (and I have seen quite a few). Really pulls together awareness of spirit through mind in a way that will affect you forever - personally and in all relationships. Should be required reading for all humans. Don't be put off by the title.

I decided to purchase the book because I heard so many wonderful things in the Oprah show.

We live in such a complex world, where there is no time to sit down and reflect on the little things that matter the most in life. This is why I enjoy to read self-help books that help me find a spiritual sense and purpose of my life on this earth. I highly recommend this book!

HOW ELSE COULD I DESCRIBE THIS WORK BUT AS THE BOOK I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!I HAVE READ QUITE A FEW BOOKS ON SPIRITUALITY AND RELIGIONS,HEALING,HERBOLOGY AND ALL SORTS OF ANCIENT BELIEFS.BUT THIS ONE IS LIKE THE KEY TO THE MAP.IT BRINGS YOU INSIDE AND BRINGS CLARITY AND PRESENTS TO EVERYTHING IN LIFE.IF YOUR EVEN LOOKING AT THIS TITLE,BUY IT OR GET TO THE LIBRARY...EITHER WAY,READ THIS ONE!

This is the most "profound" book I have ever read...it really makes you "dig deep down" into yourself and leaves you with a new awareness to what life is really all about.

About half way through, pretty good so far, will update......... Saw the show on Oprah and had to get it - hope to learn about living in the moment, seemed to move a lot of people.......................

The core message of living in the present. A good friend recommended it to me.
It is a book for our generation which needs hope and re-affirmation of who we are and can be to regenerate our planet.

you definitely have to be in the mood to read this book, without interruption.
the reading is heavy, and many paragraphs have to be read more than once to grasp what tolle is saying. BUT...i had several "AHA" moments when reading the book. i was recently in a near-tragic auto accident 5 months ago. luckily my husband and our twins made it out ok. i on the other hand BROKE MY BACK. i've had 2 surgeries already and the road has been long and painful. this book is just what i needed. even before reading the book, i had a totaly NEW OUTLOOK ON LIFE since surviving the accident. the doctors told me i should've been paralyzed (or killed) on impact from the injury i suffered (burst fracture)...apparently, i beat the odds. so i am definitely a more positive person now and don't stress about the little things and look for the BETTER in everything.
life isn't so bad....now i always say "it could be worse"!!
appreciate every moment...you never know when it could be taken away from you.
read the book...it's worth it.

I decided to buy this book because I needed to know what I was meant to do in this lifetime and because Oprah raved about the author. I personally found it very deep and hard to comprehend. I kept putting the book down and trying to figure out what the author was saying. I am only half way thru the book, but I have no clue was he is trying to tell me. Maybe if I watched the on-line course and read the book at the same time it might be more help. It also seems like he writes the same thing over and over again in each chapter. I would not recommend this book at this time. Maybe I'm not in the right frame of mind right now to comprehend his meaning.

If their ever was book that you should read this is it, This book cuts to the chase about what every Man, Woman , and young adult should consider about life.
We all enter this world not noing what lies ahead,we no not what path we will take ,but this book tells us that every one of else can be what we want to be,
Given that thier is a bit of luck involved in the path we take ,Eckhart tells us all that we can steer our on life, we all make choices that seem correct at the time but do not understand that thier actions may seem right at the time but down the road we wish we could take them back.Life is like a highway some stay on it and never exit, those of us that do take the exit sometimes get off on the wrong one, This book shows us that we sometimes need to get back on the highway and go further down the road till we find the right exit, life is funny in that way, This book is a must read, it will change your thoughts about the way we live our lives on a day to day level.

I LOVE this book. I bought it so I could participate in Oprah's online class to study it. I bought another copy (from the same seller) and had it shipped to my Mom so she can read it, and another copy for my daughter. We are all enjoying it very much.

This book was recommended by Oprah Winfrey and I'm finding it life changing. The book along with viewing the webcast is truly awesome because you're able to understand the book better or from viewing the interview with the author, Eckhart Tolle, you sometimes get confirmation of your understanding. I highly recommend the book to everyone that's ready to receive it and what it offers.

Easy and fast to read. I think my life is happier now and frankly the advise is pretty easy to practice.

I really like this book. it gives you a totally new outlook on life. makes you think about things in a new light. i recommend this book to anyone who has questions..
