My family and I LOVE this movie we can't wait to see it every time it comes on. I rented it at least 10 times I finally decided to buy and luckily I found it on eBay.

I did not receive my purchase. It has been over a month since the auction and i still haven't received the purchase or my money back. He has been reluctant to resopnd appropriately and has been totally unprofessional about his whole ordeal. I am totally unsatisfied and will never use this seller again!

This movie was a great price, a great movie, and was brand new so in great condition! I really enjoyed working with the seller because they were very easy to work with and very fast at delivering it to me. I had no problems at all with this seller or with the movie. I love it!

Great comedy for all ages. It is non stop, hitting you with yet another killer line, one after another! It has an awesome cast (includes Cory Elwes and Robin Wright Penn.) The characters are extremely entertaining! A classic comic fairy tale that has all the right stuff; castles, swordplay, giants, an evil prince, a beautiful princess, faithful (& cute) farm boy and more! Moral of the story: True love conquers all. You being disappointed with this movie would be...inconceivable!!!

I decided to buy this movie because a romantic individual recommended it to me and I myself am a romantic. This movie was absolutely worth purchasing. It was unique, sweet, and very special. I was touched by many scenes throughout the movie. It was a fantasy movie which evoked real emotions. I enjoyed this movie because it was fun to watch and the theme was true love.

This is a great movie! Worth watching over and over, again. I am updating my VHS tapes to DVD so jumped at the chance to find this on eBay.

This movie makes us laugh. We think it's one of Billy Cyrstal's funniest movies ever. Even though this movie came out in 1987 it's timeless in it's content. Some of the scenes may be a little slap-stick in humor but you'll enjoy the humor!

I never got my movie from the seller. That makes me really upset. It was going to be a Christmas gift. I'm not to please about what happen.

I've never been able to find this movie in any video store, it seems to be so rare. When I saw it was available on Half.com, I jumped at the chance. This is the classic tale of true love conquering all and I j=highly recommend it!

fast shipping, good product, aside from all of the homosexual undercurrents, and lack of any nipples whatsoever in the entire movie, it was great, i even watched the movie in slow motion just for the desperate hope that i missed a nipple scene while blinking or or fixing myself a fried peanut butter and banana sandwhich. why are there no nipples in the movie? I would like to be put in touch with the director of the movie to ask him personally, or perhaps start an online forum where others can discuss the movie nipplage...or lack thereof. I have determined that the sole value in this movie lies in quoting it. Phrases like "Inconceivable!" have circulated indefinitely, though the plot and film quality could never be "conceived" as perfect. A twice-see must; you'll only appreciate it when you can quote it!

The Princess Bride is one of the most clever, humorous and touching testimonies to true love ever produced. So why are all the reviews so general and non-descriptive? Methinks ebayers are rushing to pile up mass reviews to achieve top reviewer status. The frame of this movie is a grandfather (Peter Falk) reading a fairy tale to his sick grandchild (Fred Savage). The story line is about true love between a peasant boy (Cary Elwes) and a princess (Robin Wright) and the team of misfits who help reunite the lovers who have been separated by an evil prince (Chris Sarandon) and his sadistic henchman (Christopher Guest). Skits include Wallace Shawn as the wonderfully plotting Vizzini (inconceivable!), the truly dense (mentally and physically) Andre The Giant as Fezzik, Mandy Patinkin as Inigo Montoya (a Spaniard seeking to avenge the death of his father at the hands of the 6-fingered man) and a classic bit by Billy Crystal as Miracle Max together with his wife played by the hysterical Carol Kane. As they journey through the Fire Swamp, the Pit of Despair and into the evil Humperdinck's castle all comes down to whether true love can overcome even death. Wonderful, wonderful for adults and kids of all ages.

Princess Bride is a classic that everyone should see. Don't let the title fool you, this movie isn't all mushy and girly... all the guys I know love this movie!
Comedy and fantasy filled, this movie is a fun watch and so memorable! Enjoyable for the ladies because of the romance and the hunkie hero, and fun for the guys because of the action and the comedy act.
This movie is good for the entire family! Such a wonderful addition to any movie collection!

Everyone loves The Princess Bride, me included! Now you don't have to wait for it to come on TV to share it with the next generation. Your kids might be skeptical at first, but they'll be laughing soon enough! I love the Giant!

My kids were hesitant when I brought this home along with a few other movies. They werent sold on it but I persisted and told them to try it. Well, now it is one of their favorite movies! (I did the same with them on Caddyshack!) There are SO MANY lines to quote from this movie. Billy Crystal as the soothsayer is HILARIOUS! (as always with him) So many unforgetable characters. There hasnt been a movie like this since!

This is a movie most everyone should enjoy, adults and children alike. Probably not for the VERY young because of a few violent scenes but older children should be ok. This is a very FUN, COMEDIC Adventure film, with some drama, fantasy and a little romance as well! All good things wrapped up into one. A fascinating fairy tale story, told to a little boy by his grandpa, but while he's listening to it, we get to watch it unfold! I must warn you: this movie is addicting! You can't just sit down and watch a "clip" from it; you will have to stay until the entire movie is over! A marvelous film, a must-have in any media library!

As far as I am concerned, this is one of the best movies ever made. It is hilariously funny and very clever. I actually already owned the movie in VHS format, but decided to buy it on DVD. This particular DVD copy is the Special Edition with documentary, commentary and exclusive footage; great bonuses for me, since I enjoy this movie so much. The cast is fantastic and the writing and filming superb. I highly recommend this movie for the entire family!

A fairytale for children and adults alike. There is a lot of humor mixed in with a sweet love story. One of my all time favorite movies in which I never get tired of watching. I had another copy of the DVD but gave it away and needed to replace the movie so I found another through Ebay.

This movie is a few years old, however my Grandson had saw it and enjoyed it so much we wanted to buy it. Since I purchased it we have seen it about 20 times already. It is definitely a family movie that you can enjoy with young children. I am sure we will see it many more times.

This is actually my husbands favorite movie but I enjoy it greatly also. You have a boy whos grandfather is reading him a story. The movie cuts back and forth a couple times from them to the story being played out. The story is about a man who loves a girl but then he dissappears. The story includes everything from a giant, a sword fighter, pirate, romance, action, magic, and so much more! There are lines that will stay in your head for a long time after seeing the movie and if you think that is INCONCEIVABLE!! Then you haven't seen this movie :). A must see!!
