Zuni Jewelry by Michael Bassman, Theda Bassman (1999, Paperback, Revised)

If you like Zuni jewelry, this book has page after page of full color pictures of fabulous Zuni jewelry. I buy and sell Native American jewelry and this book has been helpful when researching Zuni artists, although the organization of the book is somewhat haphazard. The price guides give an general idea as to the value of different pieces of jewelry. The majority of the pieces shown in the book are from the 1990's, although there are some earlier pieces pictured also. Often when I find a piece of Zuni jewelry, I am able to determine the artist with the help of this book. The index is most helpful for looking up artists by name. I do recommend this book to all Zuni jewelry buyers, however I found the three volume set entitled "ZUNI THE ART AND THE PEOPLE by Barbara and Ed Bell to be much more helpful with better information about the Zuni artists themselves.
