Zoo Tycoon 2 (PC Games, 2004)

My daughter couldn't wait to get this game and it has lived up to her expectations. She has built several different kinds of zoos in different climates. As you play, you have the freedom to be creative as well as practice the art of running a good business. I think it's a great learning tool for life.

We also purchased Zoo Tycoon Marine Mania to go with this game. It is an expansion pack that allows the players to build marine environments, develop marine shows and learn more about marine animals in general. I love that both games give advice on the proper habitats, enrichment games, food and shelters for the animals.

It really has been well developed. And the graphics are great. There are a lot of really cool features included with the game as well! I would definitely say that this was a great buy!

I love all the features of this game. There is alot of thinking and planning that is required to play this game.The game also requires very little in the way of OS system and that makes it a great game for almost everyone. I prefer my children to play games like this as compared to the other various games out there. I decided to buy this product because of the features of the games itself and the price was great compared to those at the large retailers. The games came quickly and exactly as described in the advertisement. I would buy again from this seller without a second thought.

The game is very addicting the downside is if your computer does not have enough memory or a fast processer the game is slow,to load and play it also will freeze.The game is great and fun so buy it but make sure your pc can handle.

Grandson loved it. He had seen it on line and asked for it for Christmas. He's 7 and has found it very easy to use.

I don't play a lot of games, but my husband and children do. It must be a great game because even my husband can't stop playing it!

The game was OK but packing was terrible. Charged a lot (more than the price of the merchandise) for shipping and handling and even then there was shoratge on postage and post office asked me to pay additional 39 cents as the postage was less than required. Need better buisness attitude towards customer for repeat customer or new buisness.

The only misrepresentation is I thought the game would be new and it wasnt it was used.I just think the guy should have said these games were used would of been a more accurate representation.

I recently recieved this game and I must say I'm disappointed. I really think that the graphics quality went down by going to 3D. I enjoyed the first Zoo Tycoon no end and I felt like this was a let-down. Still, there are some wonderful things about this version. Now you can create waterfalls, and you don't have to pay for terrain changes. (Thank Goodness!) Also, the photo safari mode is a lot of fun. I think there are less animals, but all of the old favorites are still there plus some great new additions. The animals have more actions they can do and more toys they can play with. Well, maybe I'm not so disappointed. This game is still a lot of fun, but just in a different way.

I have Zoo Tycoon 1 Complete Collection that I've played over and over. I really like that game; but once part 2 came out, I had to check it out. I asked for it for Christmas last year, but ended up getting the expansion pack: Endangered Species instead of the main game. ( my mother knows nothing about games) :)I finally managed to get it on ebay and have played it for hours on end. I really like the different views that are available, and I especially like that you can go into an exhibit and take care of the animals yourself. It makes perfect sense since sometimes the zookeepers don't do what you want them to. I enjoy unlocking different decorative items, as well as guest items like restaurants, rides, and snack stands. It adds variety that wasn't available in part 1. I can't wait to get all the expansion packs for it. I'm looking forward to taking a tour in the jeep.

We bought it for our kids and they love it! Even our 4 year old plays. They have fun watching, feeding, grooming, building new homes for the animals. My 4 year old enjoys seeing the babies grow up! We enjoy nature and animals so, we felt that it would be something that would be good to help teach our kids how to have fun responsibly.

My son has played the first Zoo Tycoon for years, and loves it! He was very excited to play the second one. Zoo Tycoon 2 has the feature of walking through the zoo, once you have created it.(Instead of just viewing it from above.) There are more options: donation box, caring for the animals yourself ... instead of having to hire others, staff tower, varied food sources etc. Overall great fun and well worth a try!

I love the graphics... you can get so close to the experience that the children love this game. It has lots of realism to it. I bought this game because Ihad the first version that the kids enjoyed, but when I saw the graphics and how close you get to the animals, the realism of how to take care of the zoo I just had to get it.

This game is really fun. You can pick so many animals to put in your zoo. They can have babies and you can set them free in the wild. You can also click on any visitor and see what their thoughts are. This is very helpful if you need to know how your zoo is doing or if anything is wrong. You can design the whole park anyway you want with lots of different decorations and plants. You can also be a zookeeper, guest, or photographer. I recommend this game for people of all ages!

Not only is this a great game for kids, but it is addictive for adults as well. A really fun game with different levels of challenge for older "kids" as well as younger ones.

Well its a very addicting game, and well its extremely fun! The way you can make your zoo, and have issues with the money, and hire staff members, plus the zoo keeper mode gives you a eye's view of what you could see in real life, the only thing I dont like is when your done, well your done, you've become a zoo tycoon, and then what? Nothing else happens but other than the finish the game is great, it will keep you entertained for a while!

This is a great game for one of my grandkids that wants to be a zoo keeper when he grows up. Wild animals are his passion and he is only 6 yrs old. Games teaches him all about certain animals, info includes country, type of food, terain and how long the animal leaves.

Once again great educational tool.
