Magic Slim and his Teardrops are a major fixture at the Zoo bar in Lincoln, Nebraska. For those that loved the 1st Hound Dog Taylor albums and also dug the first couple of George Thorogood and the Destroyers albums, this album is right up there in sheer power, raw energy and urgent intensity.
Slim is a big guy and really covers the neck of his guitar and sings great too and live is the best way to deal with his awesome presence!
Run, don't walk, to pick upi this album, or any album by Slim and his band.
