One of the must-have cds in every collection!

This cd is part of the must have collection! When Zen came out, punk and hardcore were somewhat rigid in their structure. Songs about angst, anger, played at a rapid pace. Black Flag pushed the limits into hardcore by mixing metal, slower paces and other topics. So did Husker Du. Many feel that the emotion of the lyrics of this one album single-handedly create the Emo genre. Emotional music, lyrics that weren't misogynous, but expressed real emotion. Originally a 2 lp set, recorded in just 48 hours, it expresses a myriad of raw energy and emotion.
