It was still a fun game none the less. It was a side-scroller, but it still did incorporate some RPG elements into it (random battles, search for items, etc.) The later levels provide a good challenge, and there is a very good musical score. If you like this game, I would also suggest checking out Faxanadu, which is very similar in structure and gameplay.
