Product Description
Zebra desktop Thermal Transfer and Direct Thermal bar code label/tag printer with RFID Smart Label printing and encoding. Operating frequency is 13.56 MHz. Supported transponder types include ISA 15693 (check with Zebra, may not be compatible with all ISO 15693 tag types), Texas Instruments Tag-it, Philips I-CODE, and Inside Technologies Pico Tag. The R402 is a 4" printer with 203 dpi, 32-bit microprocessor and print speeds up to 4 ips. It has a bi-directional parallel interface. Its minimum label length is .38 inch and maximum print width/length is 4.09"/22". It uses rolls (1" or 1.5" core and 5" outer diameter) of labels and tags with min/max width of 1" to 4.25" as well as fanfolded media. With its dual-wall, high density plastic construction, it comes standard with 2MB Flash and 2MB DRAM as well as ZebraLink enabled and fully compatible with Zebra Programming language (ZPL or ZPL II) and ZBI (Zebra Basic Interface). Small footprint (7.8"W x 9.4"D x 6.8"H) and weighs 3.6 lbs without media.
