Zapper: One Wicked Cricket (Xbox, 2002)

This game is just like frogger with a different name. The story is that there is this evil bird who took your brother and is planting eggs around the world and it is your job to destroy the eggs. You go through around 18 levels of frogger style action. The levels are pretty straightforward and so you don't get stuck to often. They start you off with 20 lives and once you are out of those 20 lives you get another 20 lives but you have to restart the level. 20 lives is plenty! This game is also pretty easy so it is more suggested for the younger croud. The game also includes a multiplayer feature which I haven't tried yet. This story mode in this game is really really short. I started it last night and finished it this morning. So, I think it takes about 4-5 hours to beat. There is also a harder difficulty than the one that I was playing (I was playing on normal). There isn't much learning curve to this game, especially if you have played frogger. I think that it's a pretty good deal for the price that it is selling at right now, but there are plenty of other games that are out for the same price that are better. The graphics are ok, not that great, but most of the games in this genre don't have the greatest graphics. You don't really get to know your character that much throughout the whole game, there are two movie sequences, 1 at the beginning and one at the end. He doesn't even speak english so he just talks in gibberish through the whole game. I had some fun with this game but once again, I think it is best suited for the younger croud.
