Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom (Game Cube, 2003)

If you are a general fan of Yu-Gi-Oh!, then this game may please. Think of it as a game based on the anime. If you are a fan of the card game...well if bought new it comes with 3 cards but the similarities end there. Personally, what I love about this game is that it is essentially a clone of the SNES classic Ogre Battle, but simplified and featuring Yu-Gi-Oh! characters. If you've played the strategy game in Soul Calibur 3 or the PSP game Generations of Chaos then you have the general idea- move a unit (indicated by one character) across a map, holding strongholds and protecting your main base. You make your way towards the enemies main stronghold. When two opposing icons clash you are taken to a turn-based battle between the two "parties." If you like strategy RPGs, give it a shot. If you like the anime, give it a shot. If you want to play the card game then pcik up GX Tag Force or Spirit Summoner. If you want a more traditional RPG, games like Dragon Quest 8 and Final Fantasy 12 are your ticket. If that is the case, pass this one up (or pick it up cheap online or rent it).

As Yugi or Kaiba, you must form a team of three monsters to occupy towns across two different scenarios and take part in strategic team battles. Delegate commands to your team to conquer each mission. During battle, your team can perform devastating group attacks and combos. Over 175 monsters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! animated TV series appear in the game--and all of them will fight to the finish for control of each map. This game features beatifully detailed 3D models of over 175 of your favorite monsters from Yu-Gi-Oh! are featured in this game.

Yu-Gi-Oh is a game about cards and fighting with cards. This is a turn based RPG. There are plenty of bettter RPGs out there taht have an RPG storyline. Like Yu-Gi-Oh? Get GX Duel Academy. Like RPGs? Get Elder Scrolls 4. Like RPGs and Yu-Gi-Oh? Get Elde Scrolls 4 and a pack of cards. If you really want the cards included in this Gamecube nightmare order off the net.

The game was in really great condition. My son loves it. It ended up being a really good purchase. It is a little advanced for younger children.

I liked the three cards that were included. And I liked that you can play by three monsters. Also this contained the strong cards.

My son loves Yu gi oh, & has a gamecube- we had to get it for him to try, & he koves the way the monsters show their strengths in fighting- I like to watch it too!!

Unless you´re a Yu-Gi-Oh freak I think you should pass this game. The diaglog boxes are endless - you rush through them pushing the green "A" button hoping to end all the text pages and get into the game, and once its starts, you realize it´s not intuitive at all (you´ll really have to read it´s manual), and the graphics are certainly not appealing. I think there are tons of better Gamecube games around. But then I´m not a Yu-Gi-Oh! freak, so if you are you might enjouy the game better.

Brand new game. It arrived on time and was new as promiced. Fighting other monsters is my sons specialty. Very happy with the purchase and the seller was very professional. I would definately purchase from him again.

Well one reason that I bought this game was because this is the only Yu-Gi-Oh game I could play. Another one is that my previous game was really scratched, so it couldn't read the disk. That's pretty much it.
