Patterson's great style of short chapters and easy to read sections, with the extra element of a great mind-tripping storyline. You'll have no clue into the very end, and then you'll say "NO WAY." Patterson lovers - this is a definite reader for you. It's a twist to his normal Cross and Women's Murder Mystery Group books. Patterson never ceases to amaze us fans! Not your classic James Patterson.Reads like a horror novel. And with the short chapters and extra page numbers, book is only about 200 pages. The action does move right along. I guess his die hard fans will love it anyway, as I do some of my top author's stinkers, but I expect to at least understand a story when I read a book. This had a lot of trappings of the movie "6th Sense." I can't personally recommend this newest book. If you are a first time reader go back and read some of his other great novels. Don't start with this one. I guess each author is entitled to one bad book.....they can't all be top rated. Review ID: 10000000004706282 Was this review helpful? I have read all his others and enjoyed most but this is the worst book he has written to date. Mass production by an author just doesn't work. Review ID: 10000000004424044 Was this review helpful? He never explained how the main character saw these visions, how she was able to take pictures. Review ID: 10000000004430504 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
