Classic hard rock from some legendary rockers

In the '70s, it became commonplace for bands to strike with their best stuff on a live double-album set, and for BOC, they picked a good mix of songs for their first live album. This was before the classic rock staples like 'Don't Fear The Reaper' and 'Burnin' For You' came out, so they were rockin' hard with monster cuts from their earlier albums.
Highlights on this set include the hard-rockin' 'Cities On Flame With Rock 'n' Roll', the drug-deal-gone-bad blues ballad 'Last Days Of May', and a smoking cover of Steppenwolf's 'Born To Be Wild.' The rest of this album is supercharged rocking, with clever guitar and heavy metal production. I rated this album good, because the song selection is very good, the production is good, and while the band wasn't yet in their heyday, it wasn't long after that they really made their mark. This is a great way to enjoy some of their early works, though their 'Extraterrestrial Live' album has the hits you'd expect.
