This book shares Dr.Seuss stories and art to make a perfect collection for any Dr. Seuss fan. It is a large hardback book with a darling dust jacket. Inside the pages are filled with not only stories, buy interesting facts about Dr. Seuss, his art and essays from people close to him. It is for kids and adults. The stories included are some of his famous ones as well as some that are rare. They tell a little background info on each story too. It is a wonderful book and would make a special gift.

If you like Dr. Seuss, you will LOVE this book!! I purchased this book for my 5 yo granddaughter -- she can't get enough of it! What I like about this book is that there are 13 stories by Dr. Seuss all in one book, and while it might be intimidating to small children, a story a day is a great way to introduce them to larger books!

This is one of my favorite books from Dr. Seuss. It's a very large book with great pictures. Sure it's expensive, but it's worth it :D

I like the multiple stories in one book. It's an alltime favorite of all children. It's a great book to pass down and keep as a keepsake. You can read it over and over! I purchased it as a gift for my nephew for Christmas to grow into because he is 2 1/2. My children received their copy from their Grandma and we read it all the time. Something you never get tired of! A super book for all!

It's everything beautiful about Dr. Suess's stories that I loved as a child. To release this collectors edition is a great present to share with your child and to relive the beauty of the Dr. Suess books.

Great book. Bought it for bedtime stories. Very enjoyable, but definitely a little tiring on your arms because of its weight (all depending on how you choose to read in bed).

I love this book. Seeing the faces of my kids while reading it is amazing. It has a lot of information about the authors' background. Dr. Seuss is amazing.

This book has it all! From Green Eggs and Ham to The original Cat in the Hat,this book is loaded with wonderful,timeless stories.There were many stories that I haven't read since I was a child but once I read them, I fell in love all over again.This book is a must have for old and new Seuss readers alike.

I purchased this for my Sister who's currently pregnant. We're both huge Dr Suees fans and I wanted it for my new nephew to be. I then decided to get another one for myself and my kids, its a delightful collection of stories that all must have!!

Love this book and the comments by other people, especially Mrs. Geisel. I read the entire book to my daughter over the course of one week. Mind you, she's only 1, but she was a captive audience. One small thing that did bother me though is that The Grinch had some changes in it from the story I read to my nephew 14 years ago. Why was it changed?

I love it because it has a lot of stories in it that i didn't currently have. my daughter doesn't like how heavy it is when I read to her on my lap (that's not the seller's fault, or anyone's for that matter). I didn't like how they compressed the pictures in comparison to the individual book(s). I understand though, that the publisher did that to keep the weight down LOL. The essays and poems that introduce each story, and the list of everything Dr. Seuss wrote in the back so I can find the stories not in this comphilation, or that I don't already own.

Perfect gift--sure to become one of the books that instills the love of reading in a young child, first as a book of bedtime stories then as one of the first he can read "all by himself".

All of the Dr. Seuss stories that I loved growing up and interesting short essays by various writers, activists, etc.

The pictures in some of the stories are smaller than they were in the original books (such as half a page, or a third of a page image instead of a full page one with text on the opposite side), but other than that it is perfect. I will never have to look around for my Dr. Seuss stories because they are all in the same place.
