The diesel one's third album showcases not only his own prodigious talents but also those of a number of other prominent hip-hop artists.
With Shaq's lyrical skills, and with musical production provided by hip-hop heavyweights like the Trackmasterz, Easy Mo Bee and Mobb Deep, YOU CAN'T STOP THE REIGN is a top-shelf rap album. The DJ Quik-produced "Strait Playin'" adds West Coast flavor to the album, but doesn't take away from Shaq's universal sound, which is typical of rappers who are influenced by both coasts.
