You Can't Hold Me Back by Awesome Dre' (CD, Jan-1989, Priority Records USA)

This is 1 of many reasons I love E-bay. I loved this album when I was 16, but we were still buying cassettes & records. I collect music & always wanted this on CD format & finally won it. Awesome Dre at the time was definately a trendsetter, a raw talent from Detroit "the hardest city on the map". We had West coast gangster rap from N.W.A. & a hardcore Midwest rapper Awesome Dre in '88 & '89. This album is a must have for collectors. It has a blend of a positive message "Frankly Speaking", bass hardcore "killer on Wax" raw "Executioner Style" the whole album is amazing! He definately was not mainstream, probably lost amongst Too Short, N.W.A., & the mainstream hardcore rappers. I tell you what this album is amazing, like Dre said. "don't tell it to me go tell it to tha mountains, you can't believe all the money I be countin'. Awesome Dre out of reach d-_-b killeronwax
