Easy read, good history of the dog, not very stimulating but if you liked the show you will enjoy the book.

THIS BOOK IS AWSUME!!!!!! I HAVE A NEW OUT LOOK ON LIFE. I could not put it down! I am not a big book person but this has changed my life. I am now going to read it for a second time. What a great gift idea!

The book is exactly what you'd expect from Dog. It is straightforward and honest. Gives the reader a whole new respect for him and what he has gone through. It's hard to put it down.

I loved this book!!!! It is such a page turner. I sooooo cant whait untell dog's new book comes out. I normally hate to read but i loved reading this 1. Im a slow reader a book this size would of taken me a mon or longer, but i was able to finish this book in a week and a half - 2 weeks. i totaly recomend it to any1 who is a dog fan

BOOK WAS A VERY HONEST BOOK BUT VERY GRAPHIC AT TIMES SO NOT SURE I WOULD JUST LET ANY READ THIS BOOK.ONCE I STARTED READING IT , IT WAS VERY HARD TO PUT IT DOWN SO I FINISHED IT IN 3 DAYS.

If you like the show you will love the book, it gives and in depth description of how the punk kid who didn't want to follow the rules became the Dog that now enforces those who don't pay for disobeying the rules!

I am not an avid reader, but this has to be one of the most interesting books I have ever read. I literally read it cover to cover in a weekends time. Duane Chapman(DOG) really captures your attention with his amazing recounts of his life experiences. He leaves little to the imagination. I would definitely recommend this!

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK. IT TAKES YOU ON A JOURNEY OF UPS AND DOWNS AND HIGH AND LOW TIMES IN LIFE. NEVER DO YOU FEEL THE BOOK HAS HIT A DEAD END . PACK WITH LIFE LESSONS AND INSPIRATION. SHOWS NO MATTER HOW LOW YOU ARE AT THE MOMENT THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE AND A BETTER WAY JUST AROUND THE CORNER. TEACHES THAT WITH HARDWORK AND BELIEVING IT SOMETHING A DREAM CAN COME TRUE. LIFE MAY HAND YOU SOMETHING BETTER THAN YOU COULD OF DREAMED FOR YOURSELF.

I love Dog Chapman and his book is wonderful. The product was in perfect condition and was a great buy.

I bought the book and started reading it right away. It is an easy read and Dog's life has had many interesting turns. I saw him in person one night where he gave a talk in a civic center. I wondered whether it would be worth the time to read the book after hearing him talk. However, there were quite a few details and experiences in the book that were not discussed at his presentation. Anyone struggling to overcome an addiction, has spent time in prison or has some similar difficulty should read this book as a motivational tool to lead a better life. If you haven't had these experiences you'll still like it since it spells out how someone can bottom out and still go one to lead a productive life. From Ex-con to Icon.

I really like the way that Duane is truthful about a lot of private things. It gives you a sense of how he got to be the person he is today. It takes a lot of guts to tell personal stuff to the world (some not so heroic) and know that choices he has made (some not so great choices) over time will be seen by anyone who reads this book. It explains alot.....

This was a fascinating story about the life of Dog the Bounty Hunter. His life was hard. This book was quick and fast-paced. I finished it in a day and a half. This story is filled with very tough times, mistakes and errors in judgements that we all make. But it was also filled with plenty of hope and lots of faith. I was left with so much inspiration knowing through our rough patches every one of us can move on despite how far down we fall. I thank Dog for sharing his unbelievable true story with the world and me.

This book is a must have for all those DOG fans who want to know more about his life and family. This book will give you an insight on the man whom so many of us love and miss seeing on A&E, but he will be back soon. Buy the book, read it & hang tight until he's back. ALOHA!!

It was shipped fast, in excellent condition. I love anything that is about Dog and his family the bounty hunters . I love to read stoies like his and also I got a book Blonde Ambition written by RIta Crosby. It was about Anna Nicole and it was a good book.

I've been wanting this book since it came out. I found it on ebay and purchased it. The book is excellent. I couldn't put it down. A++++.

I Love this book, for the same reason I got the dvds, because Dog Rulz!! There is nothing I did not like about this book.

I read it in about 3 days. Was really informational and inspiring. I do question however Dog indicating that sometime after his release from prison while bounty hunting he carried a gun. Some of the info seems to crazy to be true but, that is what has shaped and formed The Dog. Easy read.

Lets see what can I say about Dog? His life story was very interesting from beginning to end. He is a man to be admired for what he has done with his life. I bought the book because I love his tv shows and I wanted to learn more about the man and I did. Everyone should read the book.

I wanted to buy this book for a very long time, but did not want to pay the new book price. Bought the book instead on ebay for a steal! First off, my whole family loves Dog and watching his show. So it was great learning more about him and how he came to be Dog the Bounty Hunter. BUT, my 12 year old wanted to read this book and lets just say NO WAY. There is alot of different very graphic things that are totally inappropriate for kids. So instead I will share all the other stuff with my kids, basically telling them the edited version LOL! It was well written and keeps your attention. Most the time my mouth was open in shock. Also there are some very cool photos in the center of the book. I definitly recommend this book to any adult!

I have no idea what this book is like as the owner NEVER sent it to me after I paid for it!!! I bought this book back in December 2007 for a Christmas gift to my son - LOVE the DOG - but for some reason the person selling this book has yet to mail me the book. If you are reading this - please mail it today, I still want it.

I like Dog and I wanted to read about his life prior to his reality show. I like biographies and he seems to be an interesting person to read about.

This book is great for anyone who has followed Dog Chapman through his A&E show "Dog The Bounty Hunter". He opens his past, filled with crime and parties, holding nothing back. The reader is let into his mind through an intriguing, well-written story. It's a great attention holder and shows a true story of how the good in people really can prevail. You meet his past friends, family, and gangs. Quite the extraordinary mix!
