Ho Ho HUM

To start off, its the price; $22 BUCKS?? I'm glad I got 50% off at Barnes and Noble, or I would be taking it back for a refund...It's kind of ironic that Burroughs has an authors note that the book was written on a linux powered computer using FREE software, and the book is $22? I have read all of his books, except Sellovison, which I have no plans to read. I don't know if I am getting tired of the whole Burroughs attitude or what, but this book seemed to be more arrogant than the others. There is some humor, and if you know his past, you can appreciate it. If you have never read his books, don't start with this one. "Running With Scissors" is a must read book anyway, so start with that one. "You better not cry" seems to be a reach, by an author that has his best days behind him, and is grasping on to whatever stories he can come up with to get the book published. If, after reading "scissors", and you want some humor, (not a lot, but some) during the holidays from someone who has the right to be screwed up forever in the head, AND, you can get it cheap or free, check it out...
