Yoshi (Nintendo, 1992)

Another game I had never played before buying but I always liked Mario and loved having Yoshi so when I noticed there was a game titled Yoshi I had to have it. It is nothing like I expected but an excellent game just the same. Your job is to match up 3+ of the same thing to make them dissappear much like tetris but your main goal is to trap a bunch in the bottom of an eggshell and then top it with the eggshell top to make the whole row dissapear and make the Yoshi on the right side of the screen grow. It makes for a very addictive puzzle game that I've actually sat up and played for 6 hours straight and one point. All in all a wonderful game that I can't help but give a 10 out of 10
