Yoga Booty Ballet (DVD, 2006, 2-Disc Set)

The video came highly rated so we made the purchase. This work out is fun and works...along with a common sense diet.

Absolutely LOVE these 3 DVDs. I have never done yoga before (or ballet for that matter) but my niece was very encouraging about these 3 DVDs. When I received them, I viewed each one and saw that the moves were simple - even the ballet moves - and incorporated fun, hip dances moves with both the yoga and the ballet. And what I loved is that the people who are doing the classes are in all shapes and sizes - this isn't one of those intimidating DVDs where all the participants are magazine models. These are regular people (even a guy named Randy - hot!) doing these moves and my neighbor and I are begun to do the routines 3x a week. We mix up the sections of the yoga/ballet so it doesn't get boring. This is a definite must for anyone looking to strengthen and tone and have fun exercising! Highly recommend this set!

I think this is my favorite exercise video. It's so much fun. I have already told my friends about it. It feels like I'm actually getting a good workout, but I'm not too exhausted to go about my daily business.

I decided to buy this video because I love Latin music, and I need the exercise. I found it to be okay; but the intructors seem to be out of sync with one another, even their "posse" seemed to be confused on which moves to do next. The instructors just seemed to do whatever without warning. Once I went through the moves a few times - it became less chaotic, as I knew what to expect next. **ALSO, A BIG NEGATIVE FOR ME WAS THE BEGINNING. I PERSONALLY DON'T CARE FOR THE "CALL ON YOUR INNER BEING..." MANTRA. I JUST FAST FORWARD THROUGH THAT PART.

This item was pretty average, nothing that I really needed to phone home about. Some of the DVDs looked like they were filmed back in the late 90s. The other negative thing about the work out itself is that even on the beginner level you should have some stamina and strength built up before you plan on doing the routine because it is not easy. I understand that no work out in the beginning is easy you are better off trying to attempt another work out routine to build yourself up to this one. The routines are relatively boring and uneventful but if you are one who enjoys thinking about how long you have left while you are working out then this is the one for you.

Two medium to medium-hard routines (depending on whether you do just the motions or really put effort into the workout). Both have nice yoga/abs/ballet sections that compliment the cardio workout. I agree that the "new age" mantra stuff is a little bothersome for some, but I ignore that part and just stretch and breathe while they go through their lectures. Overall, two of my favorite routines to use on mornings when I'm not quite up to high-impact kickboxing.

I had read about it somewhere & already had most of the set. This was exactly what I wanted & I received it promptly! I love it!

I never received the product. I won & paid for it that day. I had to write to them to even find out if they received my order & the response I got was that it would arrive in a few days. I waited almost a month & never received it, so I requested a refund which after a couple of emails I did get the refund.
