Fun yodeling lessons with a home spun touch

This is a charming, down-home approach to teaching good ol' cowboy yodeling presented by a couple of old timers. The lessons are divided into two parts. The first is taught by Rudy Robbins who introduces some basic cowboy yodels. Shirley Field takes over the second half and offers up some more in-depth comlex yodels. The book is an added bonus and is actully word for word what is on the CD. Includes music and words for the songs taught as well as descriptions some talented yodelers. One thing that would have made this cd a bit better would have been to separate the lessons into individual tracks. That would make it easy to repeat specific parts for practice. Another thing, often left out in yodel instruction, is the lack of suggestions on how to develope the "break" that is necessary for all yodels. These are minor issues and I recommend the cd to anyone interested in learing the cowboy style yodeling.
