Powerfull HT Receiver

I auditioned many amplifiers out there at the local Audio Stores like Circuit City, Best Buy, Frys Electronics, Ultimate Electronics, the only HT receiver I found that really Impressed was a $1200 Onkyo,, I then found this Yamaha at a Audio shop that sells fix and repair,, I listened to it with every speaker they had and it blew away most of their vintage equipment and everything else out there except the Yamaha RX-V2400,, I then went and bought the 995 on ebay in mint condition for $125.00,,, Coupled with my Yamaha CDC 815 CD Player, Yamaha TX-950 Tuner, and Klipsch Synergy F2 speakers,, well there is no need for a sub,, the sound is superb on low, mid, high, clean sound, detailed mids, highs crisp and clean,,, bass strong and powerfull, the bass extension and tone controls are not needed, tone bypass is all you need,, just play the music or movies straight up through the amps and you will be blown away,, the 995 uses discrete output stage,, thats what Yamaha used in the 70's, but quit using in the 80's and 90's until they came out with the RX-v795, 995, and DSP A-1, and now the RX-V 1400, 2400, all models that can only be purchased at HI FI stores,, the Yamaha RX-V995 is an excellent value for the money,,, your movies have never sounded so good, the 5.1 format on this unit will blow away most 7.1 formats out there today,, so dont be bashful, go buy one of these 995 units and you will love it,,,
