I am at this time enjoying the RX V765 for the following reasons.
1) ver simple to setup and use
2) Very good sound quality, even to my outside weather-proof speakers the sound is better then my old unit
3) It seems to dissipate heat better then my old unit.
Bad, I wish it had a few more "quick buttons".

) I tried different brand name home theater receivers, but this brand is different, very clear on vocal(center speaker)just turn on the DRC and adjust Geq.When watching movies, clarity and the decoders works pretty well in every set up. I used b&w speakers my sub is earthquake supernova mkv12, its a perfect combination for my yamaha rx v765.Excellent receiver!!!
