Yamaha HTR 6040 5.1 channel Receiver

I did the research. Looked for best prices. Ebay has great deals! This product has outperformed even my very highest expectations! You cannot go wrong with this model. Its ability to setup your sound field automatically by listening to the acoustics of your room is incredible. I purchased some great quality in wall surround sound speakers and this receiver made them come alive!!! Specifically the response on 100 watt to 150 watt 8 Ohm speakers is excellent, if this falls into the category of the speakers you own, feel confident in knowing you are getting an excellent product! Also the built-in adjustable subwoofer crossover, provides wonderful bass response in both music and action packed movie experiences. After experiencing Yamaha's HTR-6040,other recievers have left me wondering. I actually purchased another receiver through my local circuit city and ended up returning it. I found some of the great deals on ebay and other than having to wait for the receiver to arrive through the normal shipping channels (the anticipation was killing me :>) ), This was an excellent experience!
