Yamaha DVD-C750 Multi-disc DVD Player

Using the component video outputs, the optical audio output and Disney/Pixar's "Finding Nemo" as a reference for this review, I'll have to say that I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I have a 61" RCA DLP HDTV and the video quality is as close to high definition that you can get without going to Blu-Ray. I had planned on buying a Blu-Ray DVD player, but after reading expert reviews and seeing the bargain prices for these units on eBay, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! The audio produced by this player makes my Pioneer DVR-231 sound shrill. This unit plays SACD's and DVD-audio. If you've never heard one before, you'll be amazed at what you've been missing. You'll have to have a receiver that accepts 6-channel discrete audio to take advantage of this. I've never heard my regular CD's sound better.
The only minor complaint I have about this player is that it is slow to load and unload. In my opinion, it is very minor and shouldn't be a concern on your decision on whether or not to buy one.

Altho listed by the seller as NIB, and it did work for a week, the item is now dead as a door nail after 10 days. Can't get warranty work done as seller was not licensed dealer.
