Xerox Phaser™ 8400N Thermal Printer

I have had many different printers in my business and at home, this one is by far the best I have in the quality of print and pictures on high dollar and even regular bond paper. I found that in the office under constant use (average 200 prints per day) for economy the quality of print, it was outstanding, however, at home it was not so good. The quality and sharpness was still there but turned off and back on as you do at home, it uses much more of the ink blocks. At shutdown, the warmed up ink is discarded from the holding resovior and at start-up a new batch is melted into the resovior. I found that it was more economical to save print jobs until I had enough to justify a new start-up.

Just bought it, looks to be a high quality professional grade printer, probably a little overkill for my small office, which is just how I like it. Ink blocks look to be expensive, but at least they won't dry out like the stupid injets.
