This is an excellent model printer with all the features one could need.
The prior review complains about another seller and says nothing about this model printer's performance. It is confusing and should be removed in my opinion

I buy for repair my old printer.
However, printer is not working.
I am not very happy with the seller
Seller is not honest about their products.
As they listed the machine is working conditions -- when I received, it was not even completed. (missing part)
so, please all the sellers need to be honest and fair.

Fast printing and superb printing quality!!
) I got my Phaser 8400/DP here at eBay in 2008.
I have printed more than 5000 pages and I didn't get any paper jam yet. Of course the printing quality is better than HP color laserjet 4500 and 4600.
The printing speed is about 18~20 ppm for color pdf files and faster for general web page printing.
Most of all, unlike other classical color laser printers, there is no ink smearing for duplex printing for a regular paper (20LBS) and the picture color is vivid with wax coating. Solid ink cost is little bit expensive but you can buy with reasonable cost (about 4.5~6 cents/page color print)at eBay. Further you don't need to buy fuser and imaging units which may cost extra for canonical color laser printers.
Overall, for general office and homework purpose, this printer is one of the best choices.
