Xena: Warrior Princess - Season Three (DVD, 2004)

Awesome just plan out right AWESOME this show is. Can't wait to get season 5 & 6. I have loved this show since the beginning. I love the action and the special affects in these episodes. I agree with millions of others. WE NEED A XENA MOVIE!!! She may have died in season 6 but she died alot throught the series, we know they can bring her back if they wanted. The outfits and the characters were just great, it was a very sad yr for alot of us when Kevin Smith, (the one in whom played Ares) died in real life due to an accident. He was an AWESOME ARES on the show and a very goodlooking man. I bought it cause it was worth it--the episodes are very well put together and they are all totally different. Most action shows are based on the same thing. The writers of Xena kept it very interested and had alot of twisted plots--My all time favorite is and will always be "A Day in the Life" Michael Hurst" produced that one and he did a fabulous job. I was laughing through the whole thing. VERY COMICAL.....

I think i would have to say this was my most favorite season of Xena....season 3 has the whole Hope...Solan arc to it...and ultimately the "Bitter Suite"...it is the season I watch the most...I had origonally taped Xena when it first aired on tv...now I am able to get rid of all those bulky vhs....not to mention all the extras the dvd's have to offer...like the video commentaries with Lucy...Renee and sometimes Rob.....excellent...money well spent!!!

Season Three is an excellent season. You get to see more of what both Gabrielle and Xena are truly capable of.

This season starts off with a stab from Ares (using the furies) to condemn Xena to madness, a repetitive day syndrome kind of like Ground Hog day, only funnier, to Gabrielle being chosen as an evil demon's spawn maker to the trials and tribulations of Xena and Gabrielle being on opposite sides over the fate of Gabrielle's daughter Hope.

The through the patch where Gabrielle feels so guilty about her daughter killing Xena's son, to Gabrielle's betrayal of Xena when she goes to Chin to kill the Green Dragon, which almost leads to Xena's death.

There are many episodes in this particular season that make you laugh, make you cry, make you wonder how these two women would have ever survived the constant upheavals, but makes for great entertainment since it's all fiction.

Definitely a "must add" to any collection.

I am a insane fan of xena warrior princess and im collecting all the seasons. this is by far my favorite season of xena. the dvd set came in perfect condition and i couldnt be more happy

I bought Xena Warrior Princess: Season Three a week ago. I enjoyed the series from start to finish. It was full of action and adventure. With an enticing mix of tales of mythical adventures and epic battles. As good as I remember. I recommend this series to anyone.

Xena. Kicks butt and takes no names! Fast action, great scenery wonderful stunts. I like the music too

I really love Xena and I am glad to own this. It's all mine and I like to watch her and Gabby go through the love and heartache.

Great clarity, discs were in excellent condition. Case was in good condition. The episodes were just like I had remembered them. Good Season to watch. Good Communication with seller and item received in a timely manner.

I love this series it has always been fascinating to see what myth or story they are going to mention in the show and give you another explanation for what you thought.

i have watched xena since it came out on tv. i also have watched all the re-runs on all the channels. i decided to own the series because i tryed to record all the episodes but knew i missed some. i own all the series and rewatch them with my kids. mt youngest daughter wants to grow up and be like xena. i like the message most of the episodes gave out and just how much fun the whole series was to watch.

Always liked the Xena series, watched it with my sister and mom, it's fun. Great entertainment is why I bought it.

This season had an enormous amount of awesome episodes. There were some wasted comedic episodes, but disregarding those, some were exceptionally well made by story arc and morals were well demonstrated through the season. The most memorable moment of the season for me was in the episode "When in Rome..." which portrayed the execution of Crassus, who was an AWESOME AWESOME character. Crassus was one of the triumvirate trying to obtain control of the Roman Empire, the other two being Pompey the Magnus and Julius Caesar. The entire story arc revolving around him and Xena was magnificently done. Basically, Caesar captures Vircinix, who was the leader of his village, and prepares him for execution. Xena plans for a switch. She captures Crassus and allows Gabrielle to bring Crassus into the jail cell. They switch Crassus for Vircinix. This is where the awesome drama comes into play. If Gabrielle had left Crassus' royal ring on his finger, then Crassus would not have been executed. However, since Gabrielle was convinced that Crassus was a bad man, she removes the ring from his finger and allows Caesar to execute Crassus in the middle of the gladiator stadium with thousands of bloodthirsty people watching. Crassus was by far the most excellent character in the third season of Xena. The brutality of Xena and Gabrielle is well portrayed in this episode. Although Gabrielle didn't want to have him killed, she did what Xena told her. Another awesome part of the third season was the two part "The Debt" episodes. This whole saga between Ming T'ien who was also known as The Green Dragon and Xena was well played. What Ming did was basically kill his own mother and take over the Chin dynasty/empire. He had many people executed. And Xena travelled so very far just to kill Ming T'ien. However, Gabrielle betrayed Xena in order to stop her from killing Ming. This resulted in Xena being captured and placed in a dungeon. Gabrielle later proclaims to Xena that she did what she did in order to ensure that Xena doesn't kill someone in cold-blood. Again, Ming T'ien was later slain, exection style by Xena in the end of the arc when Xena escaped. Ming T'ien was so magnificently portrayed that the saga was legendary. The other awesome moment in this season was in the episode "The Deliverer" where Khrafstar, one of Dahak's secretive followers. Khrafstar disguises himself to be a friend of Gabrielle and Xena, but he doublecrosses them just so Gabrielle can be impregnated by Dahak's child. The way in which Khrafstar transforms himself into The Deliverer was extremely well made. He was another awesome part of this season. The last great bit about this season came in the episode "One Against And Army" where the character of Dorian pretended to be on Xena's side and he distracted them so Gabrielle could be shot with a poison arrow. This resulted in Xena and Gabrielle to take refuge in a barn, where they were attacked by an entire army and where Xena mercilessly did nothing but lay waste to them all. She even obtained vengeance by stabbing Dorian with the same type of poison arrow. Dorian was such a great character. Other than these excellent moments in this season with all these excellent villains who were brilliantly performed, this season also had the "Bitter Suite" a montage of singing-esque sequences, much like a stage performance. This episode was completely made for musical purposes, with all the characters singing. This season of Xena was definitely one of the best.

Xena , and Gabs, and Jockser, are just fun to watch. The writers, and acting are very good. Im in the health field, (personal traner), and i can see how much work they all put in.

I bought 2 items, Season 3 & 4 of Xena Warrior Princess and both were in excellent condition.I recomed other people to buy from this guy.So have fun, while you browse ebay and have what you want and need is excellent.I had never had any trobles with other buyers..So have fun and buy all that you want.
