There is no comparing the blu-ray disk to the original dvd. The colors are brighter, the images are sharper, and the clarity is amazing. After seeing a film like this in 1080p, you'll want to upgrade all your old favorite movies in your collection.

This is indeed an average version of the film for one reason. It's not the unlimate cut that was released on DVD. Blu-brothers should have gotten this in blu and not the PG13 version.

I bought the film simply for the blu-ray at $9. I had not great expections. I wasn't pleasantly surprised as I got exactly as expected.

I like how the product described is the exact product you get for what your paying for. Also the fact that it was shipped for cheap and quickly is always a great selling point. I read reveiws on how items were shipped quickly and efficiently and feel more confident in my purchase.

Very good special effects; classic evil genius theme e.g. James Bond. Overall, this would be a good family-level movies; it is suggestive, but not vulgar. The 'language' can be offensive, and it is not ideal for younger viewers (but they hear the stuff all of the time anyway). Recommended.

I recently saw both movies and I must say that the original was DEFINITELY BETTER!

Vin Diesel's character Xander is a bad boy thrillseeker who is "recruited" by Samuel L. Jackson's character to get info on a Russian terrorist group called Anarchy 99.

During which, Xander ends up going from getting info to actually taking these guys on using many of the skating, snowboarding and brawling skills he already knew! Xander is actually a funny character at times, funnier than the Stone character that Ice Cube played in the second XXX.

The plot, while paper thin, is a bit better than in the second film too. Plus, the stunts are a BIT more believable than in the second film.

This is a good way to spend an hour and a half if you have that to waste. While I am more of an Ice Cube fan than Vin Diesel, Diesel's version is definitely the better film. I'd rent it or get it at a reduced price.

I already owned this movie on dvd and buying it on blue ray was my desire just to see the difference, in picture abnd sound quality Even though it is a little better but I recommend don'y buy a movieon bloe ray which is old and you already own it on dvd
