Depending on your abilities, you may or may not like the controls. Movement is slow. The game uses strike moves, which are wolverine's special moves. When the screen says "Strike" when you are positioned properly, you push circle and do the move. AS you progress you gain more moves which progress to C,T,C,T. Some cool vilians, but overall I was a little dissapointed.

REASONS FOR BUYING X-MEN 2: Wolverines Revenge
Wolverine is one of Marvels comics greatest characters, and this is the best title in which you control him!
Great game play such as stealth tactics, great combo system, costume
unlockables and a cool story line to through in.
And it has popular voice actors such as Mark Hamill (Star Wars), and Patrick Stewart (X-men 1,2,3 and Star Trek: Next Generation.
Over all this is a fan pleasing game, and as such I was pleased enough to buy.

Nice Game for the Movie
) It's a good game for the movie especially if your favorite character is Wolverine.The game has some disadvantages for instance if u die during the game u have to get back from the beginning.Other than that it's a very nice game

I enjoyed this game. I bought it once before on the X-Box and i thought that it deserved a spot in my collection on the PS2 shelf. While not being the greatest game out there, it is a pretty decent Wolverine game. Mark Hamil does an excellent interpritation of his voice, and the gameplay is pretty straitforward.
If your a fan of Wolverine and a more relaxed player who enjoys the nostalgia of playing a superhero game, you won't be dissapointed with the costumes and cameos and overall story.
More hardcore gamers, i would shy away. There are extremely frustrating moments that require much patience, and it's not the hack and slash devotion you are looking for.

Wolverine's Revenge: A Fans Nightmare, But Fun GameX2: Wolverine's Revenege (Playstation 2). A challenge indeed! The games 3-D action is wonderful but awkward at times. I found that the 360 view a bit aggravating and the controls somewhat slow then fast other times. The levels are a bit of challenges and hidin clues do help in other parts of the games. Unlike the computer version (PC) of this game, you can't change the controls to suit you. Overall this is very good game to play and for those who can solve puzzles in nothing flat, this a game for you. If you have nothing to do and need a break from everyday life, then this is the game for you! Wolverine and X-men fans will love this game. Overall, this will be a challenge for those whom love the X-men series. Like most games I don't mind trying to get my coordination back from having nerve damage do to a accident. This game was a really good tool for helping me out with this problem. Good for a rainy day or with a friend. Worth the playing experience, go ahead and try this game today!
