X-Men Origins: Wolverine -- Uncaged Edition (Xbox 360, 2009)

I decided to purchase this game because i had heard good things about it from friends. I am very happy with the game, it has its weak spots but overall it is a great game. I disliked a few things, one of my biggest upsets was that the enemies were constantly recycled and should have shown a tad more variety. The game is brutal and very mature. Blood splatters, enemies are dismembered and torn apart. This is not your no claws using wolverine. From the moment i started I could not put the controllers down. It is tons of fun to use wolverine in the way he was intended to be used, and that is like an animal. Shredding through enemies and slaying them in a ton of different ways is a blast. I highly recommend picking this one up and enjoying the ride.

if your a fan of the movie or the x-men this game is worth getting, one of the best movie videogames to come out in a while

The game is an amazing wolverine game. You get the chance to actually feel what it would be like to have the power of wolverine and you also get to watch as his wounds heal.

The game is awesome works well so far, and I love it.
If you like God of War like games and you like X-men, and or Wolverine you will love this game.

I decided to buy this game, because I'm a X-men/Wolvering fan (plus the movie was good). I like that the game takes parts from the movie, but has its twist and extras.
The game could have been better if it had a map of where the task were AND where the special items were.

Graphics were cool. Alot of action. Buttons are easy to do specials and I think it was an overall fun game. Definite buy. If you love X-Men. You should get this game!

Game is a third-person slash and hack. It takes place after getting the adamantium claws. The timeline is a mix between the movie before disbanding the team of mercenaries and the actual comic character. The game is ultra cool and very violent. Not for kids under 8 I would suggest. Its so fun to try all the moves with Wolverine. You can see the damage to Wolverine in real-time and the wounds heal while playing. It can be repetitve game play but still worth every penny.

I have tried the demo of this game from XBox Live and was hooked! I've been looking forward to owning it since!

i watched my friends play and i knew i had to get it it is the 2nd best game in the i ever played right below halo. i played it and i couldnt stop i got stuck in some spots but managed to get passed them i still play it over and over again!!!!!!!

I would actually rate this as Very Good but Excellent will fit the bill.

The graphics are awesome and the action is INTENSE. I would not recommend this "UNCHAINED" version for anyone under the age of 14ish. Wolverine decapitates, dismembers and halves his opponents.

The "slow-mo" feature is wicked cool. It is stunning how and when the action "breaks".

At times it seems to be the same kill some one, go to another area, kill some one, repeat until they are dead but...this game has flashbacks that at first are a tad confusing but they are that seemless. You need to pay attention to the bottom of the screen after completing missions and objectives.

The creativity of moves with the controller needs to be reviewed in the pause menu area. Almost any button/trigger combination is used and repeated button pressing and random key sequences provide Wolverine with almost unlimited options for "opening a can" on foes.

If you've seen the movie, this game follows the same story line except it fills in the details that weren't or couldn't be shown. What happened in Africa? What were the circumstances of how they found Logan in Canada and the sequence of events? At the Alkalai (sp?) Lake facility, how did Logan manage to escape? What "secrets" could he have discovered while there? (When on this level, make sure you check out all of the laptop "log" information!) Was Wolverine the only one at the facility?

Even with my limited time to play this game on a daily basis, it is time well spent.

Double thumbs up recommendation for this game! If folks are watching you play, have them grab some popcorn and a drink because this is far better than the movie!!

This is one of the best movie games out there and is going to make you feel and think, How bad the movie was because this game is kick ass. Has more action and better story than the movie.

X-Men Origins Wolverine is a surprisingly good game (it's surprising because it's a movie-game! and it's good!) First, not for younger gamers, there's blood with every guy you kill. Combat is awesome, and makes you want to play over and over again. Graphics are nice, sound could be better, but overall gameplay is great. The Wolverine in this game makes the Wolvie in the other games look like a cat, no kitten, no kitten poop. Great game!

Overall the game is excellent. It is a good game to pick up and play for beginners and also provides challenge for experienced gamers like myself. Another plus to the game is that it captures the slash and gash style of wolverine that is similar to the comics. A must play in my opinion.

I bought it for my son and his friend to play. They liked it but not as much as some of their other xbox games.

the game was very easy to understand and the story was much better than the actual movie. The end levels start to drag around the gambit level. The game could have ended with the sentinel fight and been perfect.

The game is fun and different attacks that you can use makes it entertaining. It sticks to the movie's storyline but also has more added to it to keep the game fun to play. The only downside is that sometimes you have to fight the same enemies over and over again. They are time consuming to beat and it gets a little repetitive.

My son was expecting to receive this game and received a cheat code instead by email. Never got the game.

real time action battles make this game great for all fans of the x-men series or just for your avid wolverine fans to all who haven't played this game get up and go rent it or buy i promise you will enjoy it
