X-Men: The Official Game (Game Boy Advance, 2006)

I bought this game for my son because he loves X-Men. He said that he likes this game because you get to fight the characters from the movie. It is not a hard to game to play, so that is a plus.

the story is kinda week so far but with a nicely done side-scroller like this one....who cares! You play in an alternating character style so your not just stuck with one crumby guy or one specific guy per level. I like the fact that all the characters seem useful and none of them are too overpowered in comparison to the others, so there's no real reason to "hold out" on using one for any reason. the graphics are good, the game play is fast enough and feels pretty smooth so there isn't a lot wrong with it so far. wolverine can heal himself and stuff so that's kinda helpful especially since there doesn't seem to be a time limit. I love using Nightcrawler cuz you can "BAMF" right through walls and over short distances to hit people. and Even though Iceman is lame IRL, his B + back attack make him an ok guy. Colossus doesn't jump high but he's great for knocking stuff out of the way. Mostly I like being Nightcrawler, He's adorable while running, useful and quick as hell, but I tend t kill him a lot cuz he can't quite hit like the others. *sigh* :( (passive by nature)
