X-Men: Next Dimension (PlayStation 2, 2002)

If you are an X-men fan this is a must have. It is the best x-men fighting game out there.

As far as fighting games go it is not as fast as soul caliber or bloody roar 3 or 4, rather it runs a little faster then marvel vs. capcom.

This game uses a 3D fighting style so one can side scroll. There are many different people to play as my favorite’s phoenix, forge, wolverine, toad, juggernaut, and of course magneto. There are many more like the sentinels, baston, bishop, havoc, lady deathstrike, blob, mystic, sabertooth, Cyclopes, dark phoenix, storm, gambit, rouge, Betsey and there is probably a few more that I cannot think of.

Each character has four special power moves that can be very entertaining to watch.

For a fighting game the story mode is awesome. Between each battle you get to watch a short film.

The story mode is long and the hardest part is towards the end when you have to fight bastion with magneto and defeat him with one life. This unlocks dark phoenix, the hardest person to unlock.

The biggest downside to this game is the loading time before each fight. The loading time is horrendous if I did not like the game play so much I would say this game was worthless.

Overall I think all of the other features outweigh the load time.
This is a good game.

my grandson had owned this before and it had been stolen from him. he likes this one the best out of all of the PS2 GAMES.

I bought X-men Next Dimension (ps2 game) and was impressed with the accurance of the description. It was used but still good as new.

Good graphics for PS2. Fun game to play a round robin tourney with a group of friends who all love the x-men.

I'd heard about this game from some friends. They said that it had everything you could want in a fighter game. Well I would agree with that statement. It has a lot of playable characters from the start, very little blood and gore, the female characters aren't too sexualized, and I have yet to hear any cussing. The game has tons of unlockable goodies as well. It's only real demerit is the load times. It seems to take forever to load from stage to stage and the actual fighting moves are not quite as dynamic as say one of the newer Teken games. Over all though I do like it and recomend it.

It is awsome! Me and my freinds can play it for hours. I would reccommend it to anyone who loves head to head combat.
