X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse (PlayStation Portable, 2005)

I'm a HUGE X-Men fan and found this game to be very exciting and enjoyable. The storyline definitely gets props from me. Usually you get a mediocre story coming with a video game, but not this story!! Loved seeing the Brotherhood team-up with the X-men versus Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, and his army. The cameos were awesome, with some including Pyro, Kitty Pryde, Destiny, Sebastian Shaw, Emma Frost, Stepford Cuckoos, Alpha Flight (James Hudson MacDonald), Ka-Zar, Sauron, Beast, Lady Deathstrike, Blob, Forge, and many others!
The gameplay is the funnest part of the game. I had fun using Cyclops's optic blasts, teleporting Nightcrawler and hearing BAMF!, kinetically charging playing cards, hearing Wolverine go SNIKT!, and smashing Sentinels with Juggernaut and Colossus. This game acts and feels like an RPG too. You can level up, buy/sell X-items, talk to NPCs, and more. The sound was also very enjoyable: Most of the voices matched the character, Patrick Stewart's voice is Professor Xavier, and hearing each character's power sounds clash sounded great.
There are tons of areas with Xtraction points to save your progress. The downside to the game, however, is the slow load times. But the good thing is that each area is fairly large, so you won't have to constantly move to one area to the next waiting for it to load. A nice extra is the online play. So if you know a friend who has this game, call them up and ask them to practice in the Danger Room with you!
This game really grabbed my attention, and I enjoyed it very much.

I am new to the whole psp experience, just got this with the console as a fathers day gift. So far in 2 days I havent been able to put the game down and it keeps me going back for more. Good graphics, good story line. Any xmen fan would enjoy this game. Have been considering buying it now for my regular ps2 to enjoy on the big screen!

Maybe I'm partial to the whole mutant world, but this game, however you look at it, is an awesome experience and an excellent addition to any PSP game collection. There's a wide range of characters to choose from in regular gameplay. Powering up your character's abilities, packing on special equipment, and then giving it to your enemies in mutant fashion, is one of this game's strong points. The game is a little too linear at times, forcing you to move from point A to point B without much opportunity for exploration, but there is always plenty to do and look for. It's a fun game that's easy to get into. Another excellent feature is this game's ability for co-operative play by linking to a friend's PSP system. All in all, a worthy purchase and excellent gaming experience.

This game is very accurate and excellent game for X-men fanatics.
Not a fresh game, but the graphics is very nice.
The price is low, than other category's game.
I recomend any fan of X-MEN !

This is one of the best PSP games available right now. Since it's now well over a year old, you should be able to get your hands on one cheap, too. That's what I did. It's a great asset to your PSP collection, don't pass up on it. It is pretty RPG-ish, with much action and excitement as well. If you like Marvel comics, RPG's, the X-Men movies, or just fun, over-the-top action games that you have to put a little thought into, you won't be disappointed at all.
