The X-FIles - The Complete Fourth Season (DVD, 2001, Boxed Set)

I started watching the show in Season 4, so perhaps that's why this season's DVD set is my favorite. With episodes like Memento Mori, Leonard Betts, and Paper Hearts, the season has great character development (I won't give spoilers here). The stand alone, or Monster of the Week, episodes like Home and Unruhe were well written, well directed and well acted. The myth-arc episodes Herrenvolk, Tunguska and Terma progressed the mythology of the show in a way that begins to set up both the coming seasons and the movie. I even liked some of the less appreciated episodes of the season. In fact, I may be the only fan who actually liked El Mundo Gira. I admit I have a soft spot for John Shiban. The disc set is great because you can choose to watch the episodes you want, when you want. The picture quality is great. However, some scenes are dark to view (this is an ongoing issue I sometimes have with the show). Overall, lighting is good--just some scenes are a bit too dark (at least for my TV). I also liked the extras, but honestly, I appreciate the episodes themselves more than the bonus material.

Another of the seasons of the best show on TV. The plot continues in season four with the search for the alien colonization. This series is a must for the xfiler or any sci-fi fan. The collectors case is so much nicer than the slim version.

This is by far, one of the best sciencefiction movies protraying that extraterestrial beings my be dwelling here on earth with us.
All the Episodes are fantastic to watch and really hooked on the term, IS THERE ANY LIFE OUT THERE?
I am an X-Files fan and I love watching each episode and still wonder, Is The Truth Out There?????

By Far, the best Science Fiction movie ever encountering alien life. This Movie is by far the best Series ever made on supernatural life. I Believe. The Truth Is Out There, and someday we as humans will find out for sure.

I missed several episodes of the X-Files due to working many hours and a one hour drive each way. I took an early retirement and have decided to catch up on all the episodes that i missed.
So far, i have purchased season 1-4 and will continue until i have all the seasons. Hopefully, all that i purchase will be of the same quality as this one is.

The DVD collection is excellent quality video, well organized into separate disk volumes. I purchased this item because I am a big fan of the TV series. In my opinion, the fourth season contains some of the best episodes from the X-Files, such as "Home", "Musings of a Cigarette-Smoking Man", "Tunguska", as well as others. Overall, I rate the product at the top of my list.
