Wrong Turn (DVD, 2003, Dual Side; Lenticular)

One of my faves. The chicks are hot, the guys are likeable and the in-bred freaks are believable. Some unique ways of killing that you don't see in other movies. Creepy opening, and you get right into the action. Fast paced and you actually start pulling for the good guys because the killers are so pathetic. Stay through the start of the credits, it isn't over yet!

This move was very edge of your seat scarry. we loved it. we will watch it over and over again i am sure. This is a must see movie and i strongly recommend it to all horror lovers.

I love this movie, I have seen it before and it keeps you on the edge of the chair but you cant turn it off. I is unbelievable that it is about West Virgina. Not for the ones with easily upset stomachs.

I love the movie, and it was in great condition!! I wanted it because it has Eliza Dushku, one of my favorite actresses in it. The movie was in wonderful condition and I am very happy with it.

Competently made but derivative junk that adds nothing to the genre. Fine makeup effects by Stan Winston are wasted in what essentially amounts to a "dead teenager" movie. If you haven't seen a horror movie in your entire life, it might offer some thrills. Totally unnecessary waste of 90 minutes--see something like the original "Hills Have Eyes" instead.

i love the movie and it was a good price. every thing i have every bought on ebay has saved me money and its something i need.

The number one reason i bought this movie is cause i am a true horror fan. When i watched it for the first time it was exciting and it was thrilling. It kept me at the edge of my seat for a while. The graphics were awesome and if you are one of those people that like a lot of blood and gore in a movie then this is the movie for you. Great storyline wonderful acting. I would give this movie a 5 star rating and two thumbs up. I gurantee if you purchase this movie you will be wantging to watch it over and over again. It will also make you think twice of where you take your friends or family befor you go on vacation. There is nothing at the moment that i dislike about this movie and i don't think there ever will be. Once again buy this movie you won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this movie. Many horror movies made nowadays are crappy, but this is not one of them.

The movie starts out with Chris (Desmond Harrington), who is late for an interview. He needs to take a shortcut since there was a highway accident. He finds a shortcut through a dirt road and ends up hitting a car. No one was injured, but both cars are totalled. Two of the teens stay behind, while the other four decide to walk down the road to see if they can find a house with a phone. They manage to find a cabin, but soon find out that they are in danger when they find strange things around the house, and finally find body parts. The inhabitants of the cabin come back before the four teens can leave the house. So they have to hide. The teens are able to leave after the inhabitants fall asleep, but one awakens and they begin hunting the teens through the woods.

The reason for the rated R rating is because of the amount of gore that you see in it.

The acting in this movie is great, they really picked some great actors and actresses. Among them are: Eliza Dushku, Desmond Harrington, and Kevin Zegers.

If you are itching for a good horror movie, then check this one out!

One jerk said this review was not helpful because I compared it with Hills have eyes and did not give credit to the orig 'hills have eyes' of 20 years ago. GIVE ME A BREAK! OK, with that past us, here's my take on a great movie "Wrong TURN':

I have become lenient with thrillers in the last decade. A good one is truly hard to write. This movie gets a '4/5 Good' rating. The story was good and the cast and acting excellant. And it was done without graphic sex scenes (usually never necessary,and unrelated to the film but needed as a demand to a film for filler purposes for under achieving horrors)This movie was NOT under achieving! It won't win awards but will please the 'Thriller / horror' fan as it stands out and above so many 'clunkers' that have come out in the last 2 years. A sequil to this would be most interesting and probably would make money but like so many other sequils, it might fall short of the first film. Only Saw 1 and Saw 2 so far have successfully accomplished this feat. Wrong Turn has a fighting chance to join and rank in this catergory If they do it RIGHT. Sequil probably WILL need a sex scene! Seeing 'Dushku' in the buff with her hero from the first film wouldn't be so terrible anyway! Fast , exciting and scary (without providing spoilers!) GO SEE THE FILM / BUY IT!! (-:

great movie ...lots of great action , what was thought to be a short cut on a back road becomes a course in survial out of hell of alot more and living turns out to be the way to go. i bought the unrated version for my collection (part 1 of 3 ). sounds good ?? then buy this and the other ones wrong turn 2 and wrong turn 3 .

This is a pretty good movie. I love Horror movies although I dont really find them very scary. This is not like a cheeseball movie. The story line of course is kinda stupid, but the film was not poorly made, it has quality to it. Special effects are neat, wish you could see more of the Villians tho.

This is a great movie, I liked the film, the characters were good & the plot and how it was all put together, great acting, I just wish there had been more nudity.
Plus I got it for a very descent price and quickly.

I love this movie and all the stars in this film. The place is very cool and takes place in the woods where no one can hear you scream! The characters who are the killers are playing their character cool! And the people like Elisha Dashku look real hot and sexy along with the other feamle stars. I give this movie a A+ performance and a must see film.

Maybee one of the best horror-movie I seen!!! A couple smashes with their cars and decide to go to neirest house or so and get som helped!
But one of one they get butchered, to they are only a few left. They want to take a revenge on the mountain people wish killed their friends. This is a really great movie, dont missed this one and I will take the opportunity to make a recomend to Part 2 also! Thums up for both!

This movie is one of my favorite scary movies. I remember watching it for the first time and just sitting down and waiting to see who was going to live and who was going to be killed off next. If you are a horror movie buff like me you should definatly see this movie, you won't be disappointed.

This one has it ALL . It has inspired many many imitations. its got alful inbread hillbillies, old cars, chases through the woods, and very CUTE CHICKS.
Oh yeah, don't turn it off too soon because it has a second ending.
One of my All time favorite movies........Skull-ring.

It was very gory, but my 20 year old son liked it. It had some good actors/actresses. It had a good plot, with good plot twist. Not recomended for young people. I bought it for my son.

THIS MOVIE WAS PRETTY GOOD FOR A HORROR MOVIE AS MOST HORROR MOVIES ARE TERRIBLE. THIS MOVIE HAD SOME PRETTY GOREY SCENES IN IT AS WELL AS SOME SCARY LOOKING INBRED FOLKS. THE SUSPENSE IN THIS MOVIE WAS REALLY GOOD AS YOU NEVER KNEW WHEN ONE OF THE INBRED CREATURES WOULD JUMP OUT FROM THE BUSHES. AFTER SEEING THIS MOVIE YOU WILL BE VERY WEARY OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS IF YOU EVER DRIVE THROUGH THE COUNTRY OF WEST VIRGINIA!

I loved the movie, it was great! I really think it had some very scary but also some goofy part that might make you laugh cause it is funny. Overall, this is a good classical scary, make you want to stay right with it type of movie. Very suspensful.

As improbable as this story is, it is one of the better ones along this story line.
Teens take a short cut, crazy cannibalistic family in the woods etc.etc.
Of course it does help that Eliza Dushku (Buffy, the vampire slayer)is the star of this flick.....If you like this type of movie it is a must see.....BIG_KAHUNA
