A Wrinkle In Time (DVD, 2004)

My kids love the space travel and the different planets. They also love the kids working together to save their dad. Just a fun movie and lots of great effects. Definitely worth watching.

Of course, the book is one thing and the movie-translation is a bit of another. But, considering all the detail of the book, I liked the movie, enjoyed Seeing someones' interpretation of such a great book! It's a Keeper, the movie!

I enjoyed the movie as much as the book. Like the book you have to pay attention to details. The actors did a good job on portraying their characters.

If you are a fan of the Newberry Award winning book A Wrinkle in Time you will definitely love this movie! Even if you've never read the book watching the movie you will be able to appreciate everything it has to offer as I believe they did a very good job following the basic outline of the book and including all the essential storylines. The cast was very good and performed well. I think we love the movie because we loved the book 1st!

If you do love the book, did you know that it was the 1st of a 5 book series which includes stories involving the same family! I read a chapter each night to all 4 of my children ranging in ages 11-3.

Good I guess. I tried to read the book but im not a big reader so it took over 3 months and I just gave up because I seen they made a movie.

The movie, "Wrinkle in Time," arrived in great condition. My son has enjoyed watching it many times. Occasionally, I even watch it with him! The only complaint we can share with you is that we don't get much housework done while watching this film.

My kids saw a preview for it and one of them is reading the book. So we decided to check out the movie. They love this movie! I even watched it. It's really very good!

I must confess I am a middle school teacher and have taught the book A Wrinkle In Time for years. It is one of my favorite children's books of all time. I only bought the movie for my students to compare and contrast it to the novel. Luckily for us there was plenty to contrast.

There are a lot of unnecessary changes made to the storyline and character development. Meg and Mrs. Whatsit are the most miscast. The actress playing Meg lacks the endearing humanity that is Meg, and Mrs. Whatsit's early shape shifting is frustrating. The novel is a beautiful story about self-discovery and the value of non-conformity. That lesson gets completely lost here in low budget CG tricks and distortions.

As a sci-fi flick it's all right, but if you love the book pass this one by.

Bought the movie because this has been one of my favorite books since the 6th grade! Loved the movie almost as much as the book!

A good clean family film. A wonderful science fiction adventure. This was an underpublicized film. Three young children go out to rescue their father by traveling through the fourth dimension. This follows the award winning classic novel quite well.

I bought it for my child, who had read the book last year in school. The movie imparts the mood of the book wonderfully and we both enjoy watching it. A Wrinkle in Time is a keeper!

Fun movie for a kids. Even my three old watched it. Not a great Disney movie with the effects , but better than a Tv Saturday morning movie. Good lessons about life! That no one can tell you what to do if you really believe in something. Deals with temptation, greed, and the best of all LOVE for your family! I think as an adult I found the lessons more profound than the kids did. I think they just really liked the fun sci-fi!

This is a wonderful movie about personal courage, and discovering inner streanght. We rented it once and my 8 year old son loved it. It's a movie that both children and adults will enjoy.
