Wow Hits 2006 by Various Artists (CD, Oct-2005, 2 Discs, EMI Christian Music Group)

I own every Wow cd from 1998 to 2006, and I listen to at least one of them every day. some group takes all the songs from the year before and picks the top 30, or 19 or however many they think fit top songs of the year, and put them on what they call the Wow CD. I have them on my Ipod and Computer now, and some of them sound so modern, like Toby Mac, that you can play them when your secular friends come over and they won't be offended, although they there are all kind of genere's of music on these CDs, from Rap to Praise Gospel you would here at a contemperary church on Sunday. this and all other Wow Cd's are Highly recommended by me, and I hope you get yours today!

Now Thats what I call a rip off! Wow Hits 2006 is exactly like Now Thats What I call Music - except its 'Wow' instead of 'Now' and its Christian Music instead of pop music. The entire concept is strange only because its so unoriginally similar to Now... you think they could be a little more creative?! Anyhow, if Christian Music is your thing, you get 30 tracks on this album and its quite popular. Enjoy!

I love this cd because it`s not just one artist, it`s a bunch of them combine. They are all very good, in fact I don`t think there is one song I don`t like.

I was happy to see that this CD was available through Half.com. It arrived in less than a week and is in excellent condition.

I BOUGHT THIS ITEM BECAUSE I LOVE THE MUSIC ON IT. IT WAS IN GOOD CONDITION AND PLAYS WELL. THE SHIPPING WAS TIMELY AND MY BOYS AND MYSELF REALLY ENJOYING LISTENING TO IT.

This year marks ten years of the WoW collection CDs. Ever since the founders coined it to be WoWed every time you listen to the collection, that truth remains the same.
As usual, this years collection has a wide variety of Christian styles. The one specific style the WoW collections haven't been able to attend to is INSPIRATIONAL. After several years of straight contemporary, the inspired Mark Schultz song pulled through in the awards, giving the collection a song long overdue in music and style, He Will Carry Me. His style loosely follows after inspiratonal's CCM artist Ray Boltz. The rest of the collection is simply good quality music with outstanding messages to back them up, like Healing Rain, (Michael W. Smith), All My Praise, (Selah), Much Of You, (Steven Curtis Chapman), You Are Worthy Of My Praise, (Big Daddy Weave w Barlow Girl), The Perfect Day, (Josh Bates) and many others.

Great collection of contemporary Christian music. Double CD (33 tracks) so there is a lot to choose from. Some familiar, main line stuff (Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp) to some cuts with a bit more edge (Kutless, Krystal Meyers). As with any compilation you won't hear a lot from your favorite artists, but it is a great introduction to some artists you might not normally buy. Definitely worth a listen.

Terrible seller. Item was very late and when I asked for a refund, the seller didn't have enough money in his account to cover the cost. The money still hasn't been reunfed to me and the item was shipped back to the seller as soon as it arrived at my door. Very poor seller. Would not recommend buying from this seller.

Started collecting in 2004 because of the quality song selections. This one was to fill in the gap I had for 2006.

WOW Hits 2006 was great it is filled with all the songs I remeber from 2005. the bonus songs are great too. I recommend it to anyone that listens to christan rock.

Listening to WOW 2006 is like turning the clock back to 2005 and listening to the radio. Just put the discs in and hit shuffle, and you've got all the tracks that were played on CCM top 30 genre radio that year.
