World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Bracelets (Xbox 360, 2007)

If you love poker this is a great game to add to your collection. Good graphics and game play can enhance your poker experience. Pull up a seat and get ready to lose your chips to some of the games best players.

I like how the game is streamlined more fluidly than WSOP 2007. You can fast forward through the computers decision making which also saves a lot of time. Loading times are quick. The gameplay is a little quirky. I don't know if the AI is set to bluff an aweful lot, but there are some very prominant poker players that don't play as they would at the table. So, it gets tough to read your oppoenents. there are tools to help you along, keep track of pot odds, how many outs you have etc..Many more games than just No Limit hold em as well. But like I said in the title, the main tournaments can take days. With over 2,000 people in some of the early tournaments, it seems drwan out. But you can save mid tournament and come back later. There are times when you get invited by some pros to play cash games. Phil Helmuth has an excellent tutorial as well. There is also online play, but I have yet to try that.

If you love poker, you will like this game a lot. graphics, menus and commentary us sub par, but the playing is fun.

If you just want No Limit, buy the arcade game.

Very realistic, very difficult. Great for practice, and select a pro is cool. You can select up to 8 pros to sit at a table with you. Hard.

I love poker games.It's fantastic game. Ive played other poker games and I like the strategy. it's a lot more interesting when playing on the xbox live than with a real person.

I recently bought the World Series of Poker 2008 for Xbox 360 and I really like this game because I like to play poker. I was expecting the opponents to be computerized and not play like a real person would, but they actually mimicked how they play in real life. The only thing I dislike about the game is it doesn't have all of the big name professional players like Phil Ivey. But overall it was a great buy and if a newer version of the game were to come out I would probably buy that one as well.

I don't really care for the lousy graphics and the repetitive dialogue at the table, but I do like customizing a player that looks almost like me and seeing him play. This game can be described as "it is, what it is...a poker game"

Very fun game, the game play of all the pros are very similar to there real life game play. Great way to play poker without losing any money. This game also taught me how to play many other styles of poker like Razz, Omaha, Horse, and many others. A++

this game is good practice for a beginner learning the rules.fun game and very similiar to how the tv show is. I reccomend it for any poker player starting out. if your a vet to the game just play on your pc.

The Game is OK but there is nothing better then a live game!! Since you might not always have the time for one its great practice.

Good game, but I enjoyed the 2007 version better. This version is darker and I don't think that the images look as good as they did in the 2007 version. Still a fun game though!

the game play is smooth, graphics is like 7 out of ten. I like how you can customize your player and many features like voice nickname for the commentators. great fo r poker lovers

the A.I. can be a little tough, but the tools like pot odds and hand calculator are a great tool to learn how to play real poker.

This series gets better every year! Online play is nice with 21 player tournaments possible. Not much else to say. It's poker. There are nice unlockables to keep you playing and the achievements for xbox live are done well also.

If you are a fan of poker and are willing to shell out 30 bucks, this is a must have for any poker fan!
